Stayed there as a couple. The castle was dressed inside like a fake 1001 night. With a lot of perfume. The food was terrible, very simple taste and overpriced, and the dining room and windows was far from cleen. Had a very dark room without ventilation but the bed was ok. Lots of cloths in the room, means lot of dust. The breakfast was rather simple, 6 different kind on plates, allready chosen for you with to much sugar. The welcome drink was a glas of juice? Can realy not recomandate this place.

This is a lovely castle just outside Genarp. The environment and surroundings are very inspiring and calm. We have visited the castle twice during October autumn and during Swedish midsummer in June. Both times the environment is amazing. Free parking close to the castle is a big plus and generous dinner and breakfast hours. Ok price for a stay over night. Many Danish speaking people visit the castle. Some things that could be better. The food is often interesting but one needs to bring some snacks along in the luggage as you will get hungry after the dinner There is not a lot to do in the evening. During midsummer when there was the Europena football there could be some TV football event in some of the more distant conference rooms. The prices in the bar can not be found on the home page whatsoever. In my experience a beer on bottle is approximately 80-100 sek, A glass of red wine is approx 120-200 sek, and a cocktail approx 150-180 Sek. Dogs are allowed in the restauramt. I am not a fan of this but ok I can live with it. Often there are motorcyclist people hanging around in front of the grass that leads to the castle. Not sure I think they enhance the view. It is difficult to reach the castle by public transportaton so if you plan to have the wine package be a bit careful when driving home the next day as checkout is already at 11.00.

A fantastic location and an even more fantastic was the crazy interior design. The food was very good. But the best was the staff, Very attentive and adding that luxury feeling to our stay, such as a bubble when we arrived and a nice present when we went to bed. And dogs are allowed everywhere. What else can you wish for?

We had huge expectations based on previous experience with Titti Qvarnstrom’s food. The food was great but unfortunately the service did not match the food experience. We had to ask for the food and wine to be presented at each serving. The description promised a “food journey” through the castle. This included pre-dinner drinks and snacks in the lounge and then the rest of the meal in the dining room. Quite disappointing! The promised boards games in the bar were non-existing and the wine selection in the bar area was poor. Hopefully this has improved with time. This is a great location and the castle is very quaint, decorated in a great way and has a fantastic ambiance.
