Meininger Hotel Genève Centre Charmilles

Stayed here for a trip to CERN, it offered excellent transport links to the airport (10 mins), Geneva (10 mins) and CERN (25 mins). The staff were helpful and the rooms modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value. I would definitely stay here again.

What a terrible customer service....I booked a room for a night (non-refundable) and by mistake I booked it for one month too early. I discovered the mistake hours later but when contacting them to please adjust to a month later, they played hard....This is STELAING money from customers...I have stayed there many times before but definitely the last time....Mistakes happen and it's not that I saw it week later...I saw it hours later and wanted to correct !!!!

Staff are very welcoming and informative, we checked in early and rested, very quiet too we booked a room for four, very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was great plenty of selection. Local transport links outside, very useful that you get a free travel pass for the stay!

Value for money, very clean and relaxed. Perfect for all types of travellers. Breakfast is plentiful although somewhat bland in taste. Rooms are minimalist but do have all essentials so suits us very well. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Myself & family only had 24hrs or so to explore Geneva - sort of mini break tagged into the end of a holiday. So this hotel is ideally located to get to Lake Geneva by bus (15 mins) & surrounding attractions. The public transport pass was included in the cost of the stay which was excellent(for all guests). The hotel offers parking underneath for a small supplement- which we used & found very convenient. Upon checking in the staff went through the local transport connections, marked attractions on a tourist map for us & even gave some dining recommendations- so we found the service excellent! Hotel Room itself was clean, with standard facilities including air con & plenty of USB charging points by all 4 beds in our room. Private bathroom spacious with complementary soap & shower gel.

We only had 24 hours in Geneva so really just needed a comfy place to leave our luggage for a bit and sleep! Check in was easy and really friendly. We had a really big room which with kids is a bonus as they like space! They had bunk beds and the adults had single twin beds. When we seen them we were a bit worried they looked quite small and a bit like a dorm style bed. However we were really surprised all the beds were comfy and great pillows too. The room was clean and bedding was spotless. Good shower we always had water when needed this was spacious too. Checkout was easy. Star knocked off as my child on bottom bunk found a chocolate wrapper underneath the top bunk and it was quite obvious so shouldn’t really have been missed in making the bed. Also one of the lamp fittings on the bunk bed was loose and came away from wall when my child tried to use it. We didn’t eat or have any breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment on this but it’s in a really good location and bus travel was really easy and great to have the travel passes included.
