Excellent stay at East Indies, from the friendly and courteous staff to the building itself which is rich in history, this is a great place to stay

We were not told how to get a hot shower. We were not told there was no hot water in the shower unless you turn a switch outside the room. My partner had a cold shower and was miserable. No window in room. No bedside table for my partner so nowhere to puta glass of water or phone. No hot breakfast. Only cold and small selection of food at breakfast. Terrible reception service. Awful attitude of staff. They act like you're an inconvenience. Worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

Room is comfortable. Service is excellent. Breakfast is good. Centralised location. But parking is difficult during the day as location near Indian street.

是老房子但整理的很乾淨 中庭還有花園 還附贈迎賓糖果，晚上還有開夜床服務很優秀，每天都會整理房間更換毛巾，住的非常舒適，有機會一定還會再來 住旁邊就是小印度了

酒店很漂亮，很出片，可以體驗東南亞風情 有幾個問題供大家參考： 1. 浴室洗澡沒有圍擋，洗澡水會佈滿整個廁所。一個人洗完澡，整個廁所地板都是濕漉漉的。 2. 浴室裏有一扇門，不知道通往何處，更可怕的是那扇門的開鎖在另一邊。意味着另一邊可以隨時闖入浴室。我們住的那幾天沒有遇到，但心裏總是怪怪的 3. 我們一行三人，訂了一個三人房，入住時正常，退房時被要求額外付款2人的費用。理由是我們預訂衹用了一個人的名字。我們在第二個酒店就沒有遇到這樣的問題。我也諮詢了馬來西亞當地的朋友，從沒有這種説法。酒店老闆是華人，所以人衹坑中國人？？？

酒店是我想象中的樣子 老宅子很漂亮 很乾凈 地理位置也不錯 基本步行就能去到想去的景點 服務熱情 早餐也不錯 推薦入住

在小印度區域裏面，環境蠻好，店家很熱情很好聊天。 旁邊去娘惹博物館很近，每天的早餐都不重樣很好吃。 就是房間陽光不太好，需要去屋外有天井。

This was the best stay I've ever had in penang. Joy my first time in this beautiful house, full of history and charm. Our stay was wonderful, the room is spacious, clean and calm. We had the best sleep! The staff are all kind and welcoming! Special thanks to all of them

Beautiful historic small boutique hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Full of Asian antiques , the staff go out of tgeur way to help with anything. AiTee was amasing with her knowledge at eating all the best local restaurants , and her knowledge for best shopping.

Beautiful hotel full of character with lots of interesting features. Previously an old shop house, the property has been tastefully restored into a modern hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly making our stay memorable. I can highly recommend East Indies Mansion to anyone wishing to stay in the centre of Georgetown.

Pure bliss! Can’t find a more comfortable stay than at the EIM! Brought 5 family members and stayed at Clove 1 and 2. Super spacious rooms, amazing breakfast and most of all, plenty of TLC from the caring staff. The historic aspect of the home transport you back in time into an oasis of calmness and tranquility! Excellent location makes almost all the sites walking distance!

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in for a long time. Lovely historic hotel, great location, comfortable bed, great shower - what else could you want for in a hotel. The staff were amazing and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and days out etc Not sure you can do better than this in George Town Recommended

Huge spacious clean rooms in historical mansion. Beds were really comfortable. Had everything we needed, like an oasis. Amazing location in Georgetown. Loved the access to fridge/ water/ dishes. Easy to buy take out and bring it back to eat looking at the beautiful courtyard. Fast internet. Great for groups or families or solo. This is the most comfortable and memorable hotel I've stayed at. Friendly and helpful staff. I travelled with two babies and two elderly and the staff helped moved our suitcases up the stairs. We had no problems at all. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here - it feels so welcoming in an unknown city to step into what feels like a resident’s very well furnished home and the extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming staff made this all the more so. There room was large and clean, the bed extra large and comfortable, the air-conditioning was quiet, the shower was good, and the courtyard area very relaxing. Great Location too. We will be recommending.
