I got room with beautiful view, enjoying my bathtub with bathbomb. Cleanlines okay. Everything was good.

All good. But can be better Only if the remarks on the request for a birthday surprise was noted.

The hotel is very old located in the center of George Twon closer to seaside. I have booked family room. Space and lay out is ok but 2 issues, 1 the inner parents room has a large empty space by the window (seaview the say but hardly seeing tho) we were puzzled why no pair of sofa chairs with a tea table, what is this space for? Super odd... 2 the connecting door for two rooms doesn't close well, not saying the lock doesn't work, no no, the door can't even able to be fully shut. Services is almost zero. Don't count on it. All in all besides the location and fact has family room options, I don't have anything else to write home about this hotel. Oh and the sound proof is zero too, not saying between our 2 rooms. I basically had bad sleep whole 4 nights stay cos outside in the hall almost never stopped having doors open/shutting and people loudly talking/walking by noises... Won't book again.

The room is dark, the bedside lamp, down light lamp and table lamp are missing.and hope to improve the front desk service speed，Everything else is good.

overall is good, service also good. and there are many things provided which is very good and easiness for guests.

Good hotel, affordable with strategic location. Near to hotspot around goergetown city. Easy access and parking friendly

The room and hotel itself meet my expectations as affordable accommodation. Spacious room, with bathtub in the bathroom, tv is functional, iron and iron board are provided as well. Great stay.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience during my recent stay at Bayview Hotel Georgetown Penang, and I feel compelled to share my frustrations to help others make an informed decision. Unresponsive and unfriendly staff: Upon checking into my room, I discovered that the kettle was not functioning. I promptly reported this issue to the front desk at 5:40 PM, and I was assured by both the front desk and housekeeping staff that it would be resolved "immediately." However, despite their promises, no action was taken even by 10:20 PM when I returned from my business event. Such a long delay for a simple request is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the hotel's customer service. Broken promises and inconvenience: The delay in resolving the kettle issue caused me to stay up until 11:30 PM, well beyond my usual bedtime of 11:00 PM. This disrupted my routine and affected my rest, which is unacceptable when staying at a hotel that advertises comfort and convenience. Unsafe and poorly maintained room: To make matters worse, the ceiling was leaking, causing the floor to become dangerously slippery and waterlogged. This created a serious safety hazard, and I was extremely concerned about the risk of slipping. I even have photos to show the extent of the issue. Disrupted sleep due to leaking sound: The continuous leaking sound from the ceiling not only added to the discomfort but also disrupted my sleep, resulting in a poor-quality rest during my stay. Overall, my experience at Bayview Hotel Georgetown Penang was highly unsatisfactory. The combination of poor service, broken promises, hazardous room conditions, and disrupted sleep makes it clear that this hotel fails to prioritize guest satisfaction and safety. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone and urge management to address these issues immediately. I'm extremely upset and disappointed with the service quality of the hotel.

Comfy and excellent services, Staffs are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nice view of hotel The parking system is excellent and free.

Got a free upgrade from hotel. Much more better than last time staying. Room is clean overall all good

The hotel location is at Lebuh Farquhar, George town Penang & nice spot for tourists to go anywhere. Easy to get grab. Room hotel is clean tidy and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. No deposit when you check in the hotel. Parking is free provided by the hotel. Easy to get food and beverage by walking distance until 2am.

Excellent service from FOA during my check in. I am glad that the room are really spacious with clean towels, great king bed & toiletries and the most perfect mirror for me to get my hijab on. You wouldn't have to worry about the scenery.. perfect big windows with amazing views of the city and if you're really lucky, upper levels have the views that might catch the ocean!!! I had a lovely walk from Little India back to Bayview Hotel Georgetowm after diner and manage to stop for a nice ocean breeze at Penang Esplanade right across The Chambers Hotel.

Managed to get the top floor. Smoking room just nice for me. Only problem is no conveniences store nearby and also if taking e-hailing the driver have to turn a big round. Overall it was pleasant.

1.The bath drainage was yet blocked and waiting long to all water out. 2.the room was full of odor, even 2 days after 3. Sound emitted from serviced pipe ducts, affected sleeping
