My first trip to Penang after more than 10 years and staying at Cititel was a great choice. The hotel lobby is nice, big and smells good. Front desk officers, the porters, the staff at the restaurant, the male and female masseuse (my husband and I had a syok foot and shoulder massage) at the City Spa and even the aunty at the hotel's convenient shop were very friendly, helpful and pleasant! The breakfast spread was also great! The location of the hotel was within walking distance to good makan places and convenient shops! The room is big enough with a comfortable king bed and pillows. The seaview was awesome. The only downside is the soundproofing of the room. I heard weird noises late at night.

Strategic location @ upper Penang road. The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. The room is a bit small. But overall, good stay. ** The Japanese restaurant Kirishima at hotel G floor is a real treasure.

We took 2 Deluxe King rooms. The sizes of the rooms were okay and the view was beautiful. Very helpful lobby staffs. And great breakfast spread.

Though the room is not big, everything needed is in the room. Parking is convenient. There are few good restaurants on the lobby floor. Nearby to the hotel, easy to find food. Will come back again.

The location was superb as it is easy to go anywhere in Georgetown. The view from our room was very nice too. Breakfast was variety and met the standard.

Awesome hotel to stay. I would highly recommend and will re-visit. Great location, staffs are very friendly, always smile and ready to offer help. Great facilities, swimming pool, gym, restaurant, cafe…etc. Breakfast is definitely a spotlight. So many varieties and all are very delicious.

The view was awesome overlooking the city and Penang bridge. Location of the hotel is close to some famous eateries and will definately stay here again.
