What a treat. From the moment you arrive, you are treated royally. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and everything is first class. The staff are super friendly and professional. The food is to die for!

My experience was incredible right from the first phone call. Trudene is an unbelievable asset to this Property. Her understanding of my need and expectation was exactly 100% spot on. She assured me that I could leave it in her capable hands and I was NOT disappointed. I want to highly recommend The Giglio for any occasion. I would love to use them again in the future. Giglio Boutique Hotel is wonderful accommodation about 20 minutes from Johannesburg Airport. We stayed only one night on the way over and one night on our way home to Australia from Botswana. My wife and I had never been to Africa before and honestly when we were picked up by Rodney at the airport on our return - it was like going home and it was really like being picked up by friends. Our stay got complicated with a delay but when we requested help it was not a problem and it was lovely to spend the delay comfortable among our new friends. I have not hesitation in recommending this hotel. We dined at the Hotel last night and had breakfast this morning and the standard of food is excellent here. The Gnocchi and Camembert Spring Roll were great starters. The rooms are very comfortable and very well appointed. All up a wonderful stay.

We used this splendid small hotel twice when we had to stay overnight whilst changing planes at Johannesburg International Airport. It is set in its own stylish compound in a quiet, secure residential area only some 12 minutes by taxi from the airport, has just 10 very elegant, beautifully furnished and well-equipped rooms and quite amazing, courteous, efficient and helpful staff. The small restaurant produces delicious food from an extensive menu - no need to go looking elsewhere. It is a world away from the myriad of antiseptic, soulless and indistinguishable chain hotels clustered around OR Tambo that we have previously used, and is more reasonably priced, much more comfortable and equally convenient for the airport. You get personal service, charm, five-star facilities, an outdoor pool and elegant garden and great service (albeit no gym or spa yet, although they have an extension to provide these underway) and a totally quiet, relaxing ambiance. This is a gem of a place, and this very seasoned and particular traveller unhesitatingly and strongly recommends it.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough; it's a beautiful small boutique hotel, 30 mins from the Airport.. The service standard is 1st class, the staff are lovely and the rooms spacious and very well appointed. BTW: if you ask they will do you a great bacon butty for breakfast
