Gibsons Garden Hotel

We had a 2nd floor corner room with a kithenette. We had a good experience and would stay again. If you want more details, then keep reading: The Good Quiet, nice room with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Newer carpet, updated bathroom, updated kithenette (mini-fridge with freezer, utensils, pots, dishes, toaster). Well kept garden courtyard with fish pond and sitting area. Gym decent for weight lifting or Cardio, good pool, small hot tub. Decent enough AC. Front desk staff were really nice. Muffins, bananas, apples, juice and coffee for breakfast; nothing exceptional, but as advertised. The Bad USB in one lamp was non-functional. Our bad for not letting them know. The Ugly: Some furniture is beat up and needs to be replaced. It makes the room look run down, when it's actually decent.

I was surprised to find this cute clean hotel in Gibsons.It was not a luxury hotel. My husband and I visited Gibsons in May 2024. I booked a standard room with one queen bed. The room was spacious with ample space for the luggage, sitting area and a good size bathroom.Unfortunately the shower head really needs a change and the fan is too noisy. Other than that, it was a great shower.There is a fridge and coffee maker in the room. There were clean fresh towels and sheets. It has a beautiful garden that leads to an indoor swimming pool and a hot tub. There are chairs and tables in the garden and inside the lobby, so you can have your grab and go breakfast they have set up, peacefully. You can have bananas, apples, muffins, coffee,tea and juices. The staff are friendly and polite specially morning staff, not so much the evening staff. Altogether it was an enjoyable experiece. I do recommend staying at this hotel.

Had a good relaxing two nights stayed at the Garden Hotel this week , for our quick business meeting , convenient location on Upper Gibson , only 10 mins from the ferry terminal and 5 mins to the shopping mall , it is a mordant clean 3 stars three floors hotel , no problem for early check in , front desk staff very friendly and helpful , my rooms is on the top floor , very spacious and airy , comfy bedding , good working area , bathroom very bright and clean , well stocked with toiletries , complimentary muffins and hot or cold beverage in early morning , excellent place to stay for solo or business travelers or just mini get away , happy to recommend this cozy hotel and room rate very affordable .

This hotel was updated with nice furniture, decent AC, a nice gym for weight lifting, a hot tub and pool. It was quiet and close to places to eat. The garden area was pretty nice, especially as it was summer. The room had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee. There was some upstairs noises, so top floor may be best. The downside is cleanliness needs some help with some hair in the bathroom and shower, yet I'm bald.

Clean. Newish paint. Linens clean and not tired. Very happy with this hotel. Nice little pool and garden area. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Free coffee and muffins in the morning. Friendly staff. The only down was that view from the window is to a parking lot or the side of a building. Garden is not visible from our room.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel to families, especially those with special needs children. I stayed there with my daughter for 5 nights and she has autism. My daughter drew on the bedding with a washable marker. I was immediately charged $80 on my credit card for her colouring. After speaking with a front desk agent named Tabatha, who insisted she had "seen washable markers before," the conversation was so condescending that I asked to speak to the manager. She informed me that she was indeed the manager! I was horrified. I will attach some photos of the $80 worth of "damage" my special needs child did. They are from the hotel room. The way it was handled really bothered me as there was no compassion on their end or even washing the bedding first (to see if the colouring would come out) before charging me. We definitely will not be going back there.
