Gents toilets are not fit for purpose...Cludgy and back out! Interior door jams and open to all and sundry. Perhaps the toilets in the cocktail bar are the best option Surprised that they can grtvaway with one pan and three urinals . Wash basin is an after thought. Grim.

All good except if in Room 1 need to ask the owner to activate the radiator on his phone. Not sure if other rooms are the same. Staff very obliging. Lovely breakfast. Location convenient for bus and train. Good restaurants nearby. But in Scotland in December need heating.

Just a terrible experience from start to finish. Than management could take a few tips on respectfulness and compassion. Perhaps they think operating in Giffnock makes them superior. Alas it doesn’t and plenty of other nearby establishments are light years ahead. Never again

Had lunch today(17/08/24)and have to say the food and service was excellent.Have always found the staff to be absolutely professional in all they do to provide the best service in the area and a tip would be if you’re having the club sandwich expect a great portion and ingredients as it was delicious and filling.Thank you 👍

When we arrived we were shown up to our room but I later discovered an issue with the bathroom. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and we were shown into another room immediately. Breakfast was delicious. Can’t give more than ‘very good’ as the bathrooms are really just cubicles but the staff definitely deserve an ‘excellent’

A very nice small boutique hotel, with 8 bedrooms. If you have reason to stay in south Glasgow, in the Giffnock area, or nearby, this is definitely the place to stay. Wonderful staff, attentive hotel room service and dining room service, most friendly place. Reasonable prices. The marvelous restaurant has first class food. Highly, highly recommended, in my view.

Had my daughter’s 21st surprise party yesterday in the function room and was such a good night. The staff were amazing especially the two girls who went above and beyond to help me set up and serve the bar and nothing was too much trouble for them. The buffet was sooo good and everyone there agreed. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

Despite very friendly staff, the hotel only deserves a 2 star rating. The room was sad and very dirty. We had to put paper down on the surfaces before using them. There was mould around the tap and it remained smeared and watermarked throughout our stay. The breakfast table was the stingiest one I’ve ever seen. A few small cereal selection boxes, tea and coffee were all that greeted us in the morning although the cooked breakfast when it came was delicious. To conclude, way overpriced and when I told the receptionist upon leaving he replied ‘you should have told us’. That’s exactly what I was doing!

Excellent spotlessly clean hotel in Giffnock with parking on site just outside Glasgow but within easy reach of the City by train with the station located within 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff were very friendly nothing too much trouble for any of .them. Room was enormous but with a very small shower room. Good bar and restaurant serving tasty meals. Can recommend the Cullen Skink a traditional Scottish chowder. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Glasgow. Giffnock has restsurants and a handful of shops near the hotel.
