Gili One Resort

A fountain outside our room completely flooded during a rain storm (common during wet season). The doors are not sealed at all and the water made its way through the whole entire room. This clearly happened before since there are mold lines on the wall at the ground level from previous floods. When asked for compensation since this is clearly their fault, they tried to make us stay in the same room. After a long time, they only agreed to give us a refund. Nothing to pay for damages or inconvenience. Clothes and laptop ruined. Staff was also just playing on their phones in the lobby. What a joke. Wifi is also terrible. Terrible experience

Not terrible, but not great. We’ve stayed in 4 different 4* hotels during our holiday in Indonesia and this was the worst by far. The hotel has so much potential and you can see when it was first built it was probably fantastic, but it seems as though it’s been left alone since it was built. The positives are that price was good and the pool is lovely. However this is where it ends, the TV doesn’t work at all unless you have a laptop to plug into it, we were sold the room online with ‘free bike rental’ however on arrival they said they didn’t do this, there were brown stains all over the walls in the bungalows, there were purple??? Stains all over the bed sheets, and the room wasn’t cleaned once by the staff during our 4 night stay as they informed us on our last night that they didn’t have a spare key to get in to clean… what happens if somebody loses their key? Or locks it into the room by accident… The staff seemed more bothered about sitting and playing mobile games in the corner. The shower is ran by a separate water heater which gives you literally 2 minutes of hot water, so I had to wait for it to heat back up before I could get in after my partner had used it.

Beautiful place, very quiet set just a couple of minutes from the beach. The rooms are clean, spacious and have an amazing outdoor shower underneath palm trees. The bed is comfy and breakfast was decent. The pool was great, a sun trap so you can tan easily. The staff are amazing! Only one glitch, the wifi can be temperamental in rooms but works perfectly by the pool. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Room was large and clean, which a comfortable large bed, loved the concept that each of the rooms are in a little villa/bungalow. Loved the big balcony with the bean bags! Bathroom was clean and well sized, could have used more towels! We didn't use the pool but it was large and looked lovely! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was a bit far from the main shops and restaurants, however they provide bikes for you to use which is great for getting around. However this just depends on what you want to get out of your trip!

Nice hotel with good location and decent breakfast. Value for money for sure with also good location and nice staff.Also the swimming pool was ok with nice temperature.The wifi wasnt good and the rooms was just ok (you are in gili so i guess the last thing you want is to stay in the room xD)

Excellent établissement à taille humaine, une dizaine de bungalows répartis autour de la piscine, propre et très calme. Chambre de bonne dimension, très belle salle de bain avec la douche en partie extérieure! Le séjour à été très agréable, magnifique piscine, excellent petit déjeuner, avec pain, pancakes, jus de fruit maison.... Personnels aux petits soins. La seule chose, il manque un frigo dans la chambre. Sinon hôtel hautement recommandable !!!!
