Amazing location, great parking, worst accommodation I have ever been in. When searching for somehwere to stay in Glebe this place popped up, and advertised that the room had an ensuite, so I booked it for two. Upon arrival we got easy parking and were amazed at the area, but the Village was revolting. You have to battle through half dressed and drunk backpackers to get into the 'lobby', then you have to wait half an hour for the to check you in, then you get to your room and... Our room had a large fecal and urine stain on the floor, the room stank, was filthy, and was subject to roadside noise and light and sound from the lobby ALL NIGHT. The noise never stops, and varies between music, screaming, arguing and bottles being broken. When we woke up after our first night we couldn't even get into the shared showers or toilets, so we packed up and asked for a refund for our second night, which was refused. So we simply went back home.

It was nothing special. The toilets weren't very good, and the kitchen was really dirty. I've never seen anything like it. I didn't cook there because it was too gross. It smelled so bad that I was about to throw up. Furthermore, they stated that the remaining amount should be paid upon arrival, but they still chose to withdraw the money from my account two days before my arrival. This incurred quite a few fees, as my friend was supposed to pay upon arrival, not me, so he had to send money to me instead (extra fees). I am writing this via email. They apologized profusely and seemed like they wanted to try to find a solution. However, I haven't heard from them since.

Nice hostel not far from Central Station. Clean and quiet and there are activities for guests to meet other guests. Some rooms are with private bathrooms. Friendly staff especially Dhiraj at the reception. There are many restaurants nearby.

This hostel was okay. Not good value for money though the rooms are fairly clean however the bathrooms and the kitchen are mank. We had snot on our tap and all over the walls that wasn’t once cleaned up during our stay. the hostel is quite far away from anything in the city. Staff were nice just a shame about the cleanliness 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wouldn’t recommend. Have stayed at nicer hostels in Sydney. There wasn’t great bathroom facilities - not enough toilets or showers for the capacity. There was a severe lack of sinks which I didn’t realise would be such an issue but is! The bathrooms were often dirty and not cleaned regularly. There was a lack of toilet paper constantly. The bed was uncomfortable and pillow was hard. Beds were very loud to get in and out of so felt like I was waking everyone in the room whenever I needed the bathroom. The staff were fine but not overly helpful. On check in we weren’t advised where the kitchen or lounge area was, or what the check out protocol was. When we checked out the staff never advised us what to do with the bed linen. Location was grand for Sydney, a bit further out but wasn’t really a hinderance. There was good public transport. For reference I have stayed at two other Sydney hostels, and plenty of hostels up and down the east coast.

So I tried to check in as I needed a private room a couple of days before I flew out of town. I could say the bed was comfy, the shower worked but that became incidental as I nearly gave up at check in and was thinking I’ll need to ask ***********. For a refund. Almost all the guests I spoke to said check in was a nightmare. TWO and a half hours after arriving for check in my pleas were finally replied to. They say ring, but no one answers. They say message, but no one replies. I was literally running round in circles. The only people who tried to help were two drunks but they weren’t the only social housing staying. Chance it if you want, but don’t pay up front as when there is literally no one there and no reception you always then have the option to say stuff this and go somewhere else.
