Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens

Ace Swim Club in Glyfada is undeniably stylish, with super cool design and a vibrant, trendy vibe. The overall atmosphere is impressive, but unfortunately, the experience doesn’t quite meet 5-star standards. The rooms are quite small, and while beautifully designed, they lack practical comfort. Service is another weak point — slow, often inattentive, and lacking in common sense. For instance, food is served at the restaurant without napkins or basic accompaniments, and breakfast orders like coffee are easily forgotten or delayed. Housekeeping also needs improvement. During my stay, the cleaning staff failed to replenish basic room amenities like shampoo and toiletries — something you’d expect to be automatic in any hotel, let alone one positioning itself at a luxury level. The included breakfast is limited in choice and quality. It’s more worthwhile to skip the inclusive rate and opt for the à la carte menu instead. Bottom line: it’s a stylish and enjoyable 4-star hotel, but it doesn’t quite deliver the consistency and refinement expected of a true 5-star experience.

I wonder how this hotel is a 5 stars hotel,It is an ok mid sized hotel with very small rooms that you can hardly move on it if you have one suite case ( imagine if you have 2). It is also very expensive (250-275 €) for such a small tiny room. They sell you a sea view room but the sea is far away from the hotel and you just see a part of it. Our rate included breakfast but it was not worth it and the service was slow and un organized. Even though It is a swim club but the only swimming pool was very small for such a hotel.

I recommend warmly this hotel . A professional and friendly service. Good food and a special care from the manager of the hotel mr George. The restaurant has a nice menu and good service. The bath room is not so big but have an interesting design.
