Been at Gomersal park for the best part of 9 weeks through work, with varying number of nights at Gomersal Park over that time. In all honesty, I have had to switch rooms a couple of times but each time I've had a small issue with the rooms, it's been corrected immediately and without hesitation to ensure my experience has been "spot on" . Albeit, some rooms are slightly outdated but there is a refurbishment programme ongoing. When you look past the rooms decor (only spent sleeping in the room/ getting ready) the hotel is overall decent. What I would say is that the staff are very welcoming and friendly, Debra on reception is awesome to have a great conversation with, Jemma is able to sort any issue out you may have and clearly has a passion for customer service; and James, Amelia and Emily are brilliant at dinner service; no request is too much trouble for any amendments to dinners, and able to sort these requests without fuss. And Diane, brilliant in the morning checking in on everyone as they tuck into breakfasts to make sure everything is all good, absolute star and to have a quick chat too with. Food, following a recent revamp hasn't got the longest list of items, but what I've had has been superb. Steak is the go to for me at the moment, can also recommend the Sea Bass Drinks have always also been spot on - never had a bad Camden Pale Ale, albeit little pricey but worth it from a quality perspective The Spa, whilst small is is clean and tidy and typically not too busy when I go in the evenings, which is nice as you don't feel overrun Being here for these weeks, it does feel like I am part of the furniture (just not as old as some of the furniture being thrown out of the rooms ) , and it's great to have a hotel that has such welcoming and friendly staff (even cleaners say hello in the mornings).
