Provence Km28

Suite was a beautifully restored cosy cocoon filled with artistic pieces and good quality furnishings. Location was absolutely perfect for our mini exploratory visit. Hosts were amazingly generous of heart and welcoming ! delicious breakfast and attention to detail wholly appreciated. Highly recommend.

I seldom write reviews although my husband and I travel a lot. Provence KM 28 was one of the very best small bed and breakfast properties we’ve ever stayed in. The level of comfort and attention to detail is superb. (Including the Portuguese bed linens, towels, robes). The owners Luc and Marianne take so much pride in their beautifully decorated domicile. The breakfasts are huge and consist of the freshest baguettes, croissants, fresh juice, homemade yogurt with mascarpone (!), homemade jams, fresh fruit. Provence KM 28 is a rare find and an excellent value. Luc reached out ahead of our visit to advise that restaurant reservations were necessary and hard to come by and offered to try to make some for us. He did and we were very thankful for his suggestions. We had the most amazing dinners in the area thanks to him. Cannot praise this property highly enough.

Amazing - perfect - wonderful : just go !! The whole experience has been perfect. Hosts are wonderful. Extreme refinement from china to bedding. Location is perfect to go visit Gordes and more but you can just stay and relax by the swimming pool. Totally recommend it 300%.

We stumbled onto Provence KM 28...and it was dazzling and the most memorable part of our little trip to the Lubéron (just outside Gordes). The owner/hosts Luc and Marianne have impeccable taste and their three-room chambre d'hôte reflects that everywhere you turn. From the most luxurious bed linens I have ever slept on, through the meltingly-beautiful garden and pool area, to the many thoughtful touches in our room (herbal tea blends with an electric kettle, a mini-fridge for storing the goodies we bought at the marché, robes and slippers, great bedside lighting) and fabulous high-end decor...Luc and Marianne have provided everything for a perfect stay. But wait...there's more! Breakfast is both plentiful and delicious AND an every-changing work of art, with unique place settings (either indoors or out in the garden, the sound of the fountain giving a relaxing start to the day) provided every day of our stay. Don't leave your camera in the room in the morning: you'll want to capture the beauty that is created for your breakfast! Finally, Luc and Marianne were so friendly, so patient with us as we struggled to speak French, so effective in English that we really didn't need to try to speak their language, and so helpful in finding restaurants and things to do....we will absolutely be back!

Une magnifique chambre d’hôtes, ôde à la perfection. Tout est un pur bonheur, de la décoration soignée jusque dans les détails, aux petits déjeuners dignes des meilleurs hôtels avec des produits frais, du fait maison et une table magnifiquement dressée chaque jour différemment. Nous avons également été enchantés par la disponibilité et l’amabilité de nos hôtes, nos échanges le matin étaient un vrai plaisir ! Le calme, l’ambiance cosy et apaisante des lieux nous ont charmés. Difficile de quitter cet endroit sans une pointe d’émotion… Merci infiniment à Luc, Marianne et Carole pour ce séjour dans leur maison si exceptionnelle.

Deuxième séjour pour nous au Km28, au pied du beau village de Gordes. Exactement la même impression que lors de notre passage en 2020, une recherche permanente de la perfection, dans la décoration, le choix des produits, le conseil sur les adresses de la région, les propositions d'huiles et de vinaigres. Marianne et Luc sont des hôtes charmants et disponibles. Cette fois, nous avons opté pour la Bergerie, pour 4 nuits, mais serions bien restés quelques jours de plus :-) Petit déjeuner de Palace, dont le décor change tous les jours, avec, notamment, des verres du Val-Saint-Lambert, que nous aurions bien emporté :-) Merci !
