Hotel Gosford recensioner

Lovely little room and beautiful shared marble bathroom! Looks brand new and it was constantly clean with fresh towels. Had a smart tv in the room. Downstairs was a little noisy but they provide earplugs in each room so sleeping was not an issue. My room was cleaned daily and I had a great stay.

Convenient location close to train station and shops, friendly and helpful staff. However not so great for a peaceful sleep, You can hear the breaks of every train as they arrive, Can easily hear people on the floor above and on the streets. Furthermore the room I was in had bedbugs so I bites all over my legs and back.

The lady in reception/bar was very helpful and had me upgraded to a bigger room with no fuss and complete transparency. The shared bathrooms didn’t feel shared, maybe it just wasnt busy but i was able to use the showers like its my own. Housekeeping should keep a better eye out for the soap dispensers though, no one seemed to keep them filled up during my stay. Other than that comfiest bed ever even for the price such a great deal!

Booked a room with private bathroom - clearly stated on website and confirmation email. Room had no bathroom. Had to argue with two of the staff that I had booked a room with a private bathroom. They tried to charge me an additional $80. One gentleman told me it was my fault for not calling the hotel to confirm that I had a private bathroom and that I hadn't paid enough. It's not my job to synch pricing with trip.com. After standing around for ages while they stared blankly at a screen they eventually allocated another room. Not a great starting point. Old style elevator might be difficult to operate for some travellers, the doors are pretty heavy.

I was surprised at how good the accommodation was here. Right on the main street of Gosford, was a great location. Rooms recently renovated and looked great. I ate at the Hotel restaurant and was the best steak I have had in a very long time. I would really recommend you to stay here if ever going to Gosford.

Everything is good but it can be better if they can provide microwave. Wall is thin so the sound insulation is not good

一樓是很棒的酒吧，還有賽馬機台可以玩，房內空間雖然小了點，不過大致上算乾淨，飯店內的電梯也相當有特色
