Was really happy with everything here from start to finish and it was very price-friendly: the only two points to mention were that the shower box had run out of shampoo and the checkout was 10am rather than the 11am specified on here. 5 stars everything else.

Booked 2 rooms over the phone but when we arrived they informed us that they didn’t have our booking. They did call an alternative hotel 10 minutes down the road to try and find us a different place to stay however it was isolated and they only had 1 room available. Thankfully a different hotel had available space. Not an ideal situation to arrive at after a long day.

Great location for village pubs, restaurants and local attractions. Rooms very clean and bathroom has a power shower. Pub itself a bit rundown and not busy with no meals available but plenty of choice nearby. Overall the place is probably average but location bumps it up to good.

The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodated my ever changing work schedule without fuss( deep thank you for that too) The premises was flawlessly clean, bedrooms too. Bed was the comfiest I’ve slept in. During this past 5 wks I’ve worked from London to Leicester in numerous travel lodges. And let me tell you the service I received from Ruth and her staff at the Globe Inn Hotel put them all to shame hands down. Would highly recommend this place if you’re travelling throughout the lakes even if it’s just a one night stay. Can’t thank you enough.

£10.80 for a pint and a half of watered down beer, sticky tables, shabby interior, smelly atmosphere. Think the price for our drinks was an error, which we should have checked, but the atmosphere wasn’t conducive to making a fuss. Never want to go again

Stayed here for one night and got room 6. The bar seemed very quiet when we arrived a Member off staff behind the bar greeted us checked us in and lead us to the main stairs explained where our room was and we were good to go. The place could definitely do with some work and an update but for the price it did the job fine. Could be quite noisy as I could hear talking in the hall way and people outside the pub. But for our stay it was okay. Tea and coffee in room with kettle but no milk.

Rooms are nice and presented, staff Kelly and john were really fun and friendly! Highly recommend if you're wanting to experience this area properly and talk to locals! Everythings close by in terms of beaches and working sites.

Een kleine kamer met raam en verwarming. Goede douche en super prijs kwaliteit verhouding en geen last van café eronder. a small room with window and central heating. good shower and value for money. No distubance of the cafe underneath. easy checkout for early birds.
