A wonderfully "old-school rebooted" hotel, set right in the middle of one of Germany's most lovely cities. Lovingly furnished, well-appointed rooms. A stellar restaurant. And though a bit tricky to find if you miss the signage, hotel has private parking available. Centrally located, close to the town square and a host of restaurant, and the sightseeing "train" departs directly across from the hotel entrance. And with all of this, a true value to boot!

Very nice hotel located in the old town center. The restaurant and the foods were amazing. The staff was helpful and kind. The room was clean and new. The equipments were new. You feel like you live the history in this century. I would like to visit again. Thank you...

Nice public area’s and comfortable rooms. The staff are very friendly. They serve an excellent breakfast. The Restaurant is okay and has some nice wines. The Hotel car park a bit tight. Nice town, but overdoing it a bit with calling everything “world heritage”

We stayed there one night. The complex is divided into several areas where there are rooms. A complex located above the main street, another room complex in the center and another complex at the end. We got a room in the complex which is at the end. I recommend asking for a room in the central complex or in the complex on the main street (although this is not essential). An ancient and special building. clean room. The location of the hotel is excellent - a few minutes' walking distance from restaurants, shops, cafes and several attractions. The breakfast is good. Kind staff. There is parking on site for an additional fee. Must be ordered in advance. Except for one room, there is no air conditioner in the rooms.

Wonderful hotel in an amazing, historical complex of half-timbered buildings. Parking was excellent -- right outside my room -- and the room itself was clean, roomy and very quiet (I was in one of the buildings away from busy Marktstrasse).

We stayed 2 nights during the Weinachten Markt. The best part is walking out of the front door of the hotel and finding yourself right in the middle of the market & literally a few steps from the enchanted forest erected just for the season. The main part of the hotel especially the frontage that faces the market is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a deluxe superior room (Archive) which was in a satellite building in the rear of reception. Although the room was quite spacious and comfortable it was somewhat disappointing as it had zero view and overlooked the breakfast cafeteria like room. Breakfast was extensive & quite good. Would stay again & highly recommended if only for its proximity to the market. Goslar is a beautiful village great for meandering off the beaten path.

Been here several times now, and still I am surprised by the fantastic building. Fantastic location also. Breakfast is enjoyed in the backyard between the old buildings. Sadly, the old bar in the oldest building of the hotel was closed the evening we was there, but we could sit outside in the front of the hotel and enjoy both dinner and drinks, so it was not a big problem. You will find free wifi but no freezer in the room. Parking is directly beside the hotel. I believe we will visit the hotel very soon again.

We’ve booked directly. Reception and staf are very welcoming and polite. We even got a free upgrade to a beautiful room(rheinecke). The restaurant is also very good and the people working there are so very kind. Breakfast is simply superb. Highly recommended if you can afford a little higher price for your stay. (Paid) limited parking available on hotel ground or parking lot 50m away. Don’t forget to ask for the Goslar Guest card, which offer various discounts (even in their own restaurant). Only small noticed mistake: the room was made up perfectly, but the bed was not. For some reason forgotten I think. We did not complain because we did not mind for our 2 day stay.

The rooms in this carefully preserved historic building are furnished and decorated with the utmost attention to detail, while the bathrooms offer every modern comfort. Their restaurant and bar are inviting, with refined cuisine and select wines, and their personalized service highly appreciated. I hope we can return one day.
