Palapart Gikas Gouvia

Stayed here as a solo traveller in 23 and heading back this year. Loved the hotel, the rooms and balconies were lovely and well equipped. Close to the main road for busses into corfu town which is a must. Close to resort centre which has more that enough shops and tavernas. Note it has a pebbly beach. Lucia also has a pretty marina

Fantastic apartment, full size cooker microwave, fridge/freezer and all utensils and crockery. Bed extremely comfortable. Great balcony with furniture and airer. Staff were fantastic so helpful. Pool bars great and 4 pools to choose from what's not to like. Loads of sunbeds. Walk to Gouvia is about 10mins including waiting for crossing signs. Local supermarket has everything you need. 100% recommend Palapart don't thing there's enough for children to do but there are children's pools

Lovely hotel, incredibly clean and relaxing stay. Very well situated for Gouvia centre, bus stop to Corfu and beaches. The pools aren’t heated so very cold if you visit later in the season - wasn’t a huge problem for us but may be for some. Unfortunately a lot of the restaurants in Gouvia were already closed for the season (end of Oct) but can’t fault the accommodation - we would like to come back in the summer! ☺️

We have just come back from a week at Palapart. I'm am giving the hotel 5 stars for the accomadation, we had a junior suite top floor in building overlooking the long pool. A separate bedroom, queen size bed so comfy with ensuite bathroom, and a separate shower room with toilet off the main room. The kitchen are was well equipped with cooker and full size fridge freezer, and a TV in both lounge and bedroom. The balcony was huge with comfy chairs at one end and a table and chairs at the other. All was so clean and well kept, the staff so friendly, a shout out to Spiros in the pool bar, had some nice chats, wine and food from him, whilst spending time around the pool. We have to be honest about Gouvia, it was slightly rundown and tired, albeit we had some lovely meals out along the high street. The beach again tired, a better beach 10 mins bus ride away at Ipsos on the no 7 bus. We recommend taking the boat trip from Gouvia to Kassiopi we had a great day, sea swimming, and bbq on board. The local supermarket called Dellias

Well it's coming to the end of our holiday, we have been here for 2 weeks. What can I say... We stayed in a comfort studio, the rooms have plenty of room and Betty the cleaner is amazing keeping our room spotless, emptying the bins on a daily basis, changing the towels when needed. She works so hard keeping everything around the hotel clean. The only downside to the room was that there wasn't a table to eat from. They could remove the dressing table and put a small breakfast bar with 2 chairs then it would get a 5 star rating from me. Everything in the kitchen to prepare meals if you didn't want to eat out. I would also suggest hiring a car then you can see how beautiful the island is.

Extremely clean apartment, bins emptied everyday, towels changed every 2 days and bed changed once in the week. All staff very friendly and accommodating. The whole place looks very new. Lots of cats everywhere wandering about , often in the open bar/ restaurant area looking for food. 4 pools and easy to get sun or shade. Rooftop seating as well. Easy walk to the village of Gouvia, cross the busy dual carriageway at crossing, go left and right next to the garage there is a path leading to the road where the shops start. Beach pebbly but there are sun beds to hire. Lots of lovely restaurants and cafes. Beware of uneven paths, lots of trip hazards! Bus stop to Corfu town to the left at bottom of road leading to apartments. Can get breakfast in the onsite pool bar , a bit hit and miss. Bacon can be nearly cold and hard. Lunch/ all day snacks better eg. Club sandwich, omelettes etc. Plagued with mosquitoes, apparently they haven’t sprayed the foliage in Corfu this year so they are worse. Came home with lots of of very itchy bites. Apart from that a great break and would recommend the Palapart Gikas.
