Mathraki Resort

This is a fabulous resort. The apartments are in beautiful gardens Winthrop a great pool. I worked with a pool for 23 years. This one was always sparkly clean. Our apartment (the mill was spacious and comfortable) . My only complaint would be more cooking utensils and a toaster. Everything was kept really clean and tidy by the super cleaning ladies. I would highly recommend this resort, it would be good for all, very child friendly I thought. The hosts were very friendly and incredibly helpful. We even had some animal friends( tortoises, dogs and cats). There is a taverna but we did not eat in. The food looked great and smelt wonderful. All in all a great place to stay, we are thinking of staying again next year.

We had the most brilliant stay at Mathraki Resort, the rooms were spotless, the facilities were amazing, and the location was just perfect! As a group of young girls we also felt extremely safe both at the hotel & surrounding areas! We will definitely be back & recommending it to all of our friends & family!

Another fantastic holiday at Mathraki. The complex has had a tasteful refurbishment since our last visit and our apartment was beautiful and the new sun beds modern and super comfy. No sun bed wars here! Thank you Nikos for making us all feel like part of your family. It really is a special place. George you never cease to make the guests smile and allowing us all to be part of your birthday celebrations was very special. We will see you again next year!

Lovely family run hotel with an excellent pool area and tastefully decorated room.Pool bar open all day,and tranquil garden area’s to enjoy from your balcony

We stayed here for 4 nights in September, it’s a beautiful family run resort with a homely feel. The room was big enough and kept clean with daily towel changes. The pool area was lovely with a sun bed always available. The food at the hotel was delicious, we especially enjoyed the Nutella cookie pancakes at breakfast! Such a quiet peaceful resort in a great location close to Gouvia beach/town. We also caught the bus into Corfu Town a few times which was easy and cheap to do! The staff at the hotel were so helpful anf friendly and booked taxis for us when required. We would 100% recommend to stay here and would love to return in the future!

The room was fine for our needs, well presented, updated and sufficiently kitted out. Cleaned regularly (more than we needed!). Shame about the noisy neighbours, but no reflection on the resort and they were willing to intervene if required. Pool was clean and well kept, with plenty of sunbeds available and clean bathroom nearby. Restaurant food and entertainment was excellent. Only negative point would be it's a little pricey. We had a last minute, end of season discount and I think otherwise it would have been too expensive for us, but Corfu in general seems to have increased all its prices since we were last there.
