Dreams Corfu Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Just back from a fantastic stay at Dreams! Wonderful staff who can’t do enough for you.. big thanks to Spiros, Maria and Iro at the main restaurant for always looking after us so well and taking care of our young girls allergies! Beautiful hotel, amazing surroundings and views, delicious food and great entertainment.. what more could you want! Our girls also loved the kids club thanks to Becky and the team!!

I normally don’t bother with reviews but this is not an experience I’d like to repeat and I hope someone finds it useful. There are some positives but I can’t say there are many. We did stay in Corfu last year and I would recommend Grecotel LuxMe resorts any day over Dreams. I am a Hyatt customer and this is pretty far from this groups normal offerings and I’d agree with other reviewers that they’re trying to cram as much margin into this hotel as possible. To start on a positive the food offering at the main restaurant is really good. Well cooked and there is pretty much nothing you could want more of. I did struggle being told a grill was closed at 10.45am despite breakfast being served until 11. The staff were great here with the one exception. An older abrupt gentleman with an unfortunate manner. The staff were generally really good in the resort. Friendly and courteous etc. We had a room with three beds but arrived to one not being made up. I did call reception to ask on 3 occasions and whilst one time it didn’t happen because of a do not disturb sign it took over 24 hours to be done! Also on the room service front our fridge was not stocked up for two days until I called to ask if it was meant to be and they sent someone along. One day we got a note on the door that they couldn’t re stock for privacy issues (do not disturb on door handle) which is fair enough but I’d expect the room service team to coordinate the refill as they were in the room to clean once the sign was removed. Also again Grecotel win here as they’d do a stock run twice a day. Aside from this the room service staff on the whole did a good job otherwise and were friendly. It’s worth noting that three relatively short showers between 6 and 7 pm meant the last person showering didn’t get a warm shower every time. I know it’s warm outside but a warm shower is nice for all to experience. My main problem with this resort is I personally believe they have decided to fit as many people into this space as is humanly possible. The poolsides are rammed, and there are not enough loungers for the guests. Even if you paid the extra for preferred club these spaces looked even more crammed! We opted not to this time as when in the Caribbean we didn’t feel it was a necessary addition. I’m so relieved we didn’t here. The bars pre dinner are so full that there are no seats at all when you turn up. And after dinner if you go down to the beach bar it’s full too with no seats available at all. The additional dining options were not available on the week of the 12th of July apart from the Greek a la carte restaurant at 9.15 pm. I emailed the hotel to book these before arrival as I know they get busy but they said I had to book on arrival but the above was their availability when we arrived. I did talk to the reception on the grill restaurant and they told me the app sometimes causes problems so best to book direct with reception. This would have been good to k

This Hotel was beyond belive, compared to the original hotel we were in the Nissaki Beach Hotel, which we had to be moved from, this Hotel The Dreams Resort and spa was paradise and more it was Disabled Friendly, The Bedrooms was outstanding with a wonderful sea view, the Bathroom was like a Double room size with handrails and emergency cord fitted,scales, telephone included in the bathroom, extra large quality towel, bathrobes and slippers,Umbrella in wardrobe,kettle,mini bar that was refilled everyday,expresso coffee machine with coffee pods, Large smart tv,in my previous review I was not trying to bad mouth this Hotel, all the negatives things I mentioned was about issues I had with my previous Hotel that we had to leave and in no way about the Dreams Resort and spa

Had apprehensions before coming due to poor reviews however we experienced none. We had 2 standard double sea view which were fabulous. King size comfy double bed plenty of storage space. Lots of charging sockets. Rooms 652 -655 had massive balcony. Shower great so is shampoo/conditioner/shower wash and body cream. Tbh you could leave all this at home. Steamer in room and air con fantastic. Fridge and coffee topped up daily. Only gripe,, was the smoke detector that had a flashing green light and occasionally another one that flashed neon green across our room. Pools lovely perfect temperature, great idea to open at 10,, no big rush for sunbeds, there was plenty. Pool towels are big and you can take as many as you like. Alot of sunbeds on grass which is a godsend on your feet. Wish the adults only pool had a nearer toilet, and someone around to throw kids out that sometimes came in! Do wonder what pools will be like later in year with lots of inflatables and nowhere to swim. Waiters and waitresss lovely, work their socks off, always got drinks and if we didn’t it’s not hard going to the bar,, where hotdogs/pizzas/ice cream available. We got bookings twice in Greek, twice in seafood al a cartes,,concierge booked for us. Food always good, there’s something on the menu for everybody, the other 2 al a cartes were open during the day, no booking necessary. Pizzas here are really good. Cocktails fantastic! The buffet also very good,, no complaints at all. There were a few wasps by seaside grill and I got stung twice, these need looking into think they have nest in roof. Hired a boat from Gouvia boat rentals, also inflatable sofa and paddle boards, all fun. As we had a late flight was given a courtesy room to shower and could use all facility’s, just brilliant . Lastly the staff are amazing, can’t do enough for you, they are all so so friendly, a real credit to the hotel ❤️

We would love to give this review 5, but there is one major problem with this hotel. First the good points - A wonderful venue with stunning views. We booked a preferred room which had a great view from our balcony which was spacious and kept beautifully by our friendly maid Laureta, nothing was too much trouble for her. The staff everywhere were great and very hard working. Special thanks to Spiros and his team in the Sugar Reef bar- the best made cocktails in the hotel and they really worked hard to fulfill orders placed from the beach which they serviced, they never stopped rushing around to please everyone. There were two speciality restaurants which were bookable in the evening. We managed to visit them once each ( we would have liked to have visited them more often, but they always seemed to be fully booked even though they were half empty most of the time?) All the public areas were spotlessly clean as were the pools. So, all round this hotel has everything right to earn 5 stars, except for one annoying thing. The buffet restaurant had a great selection of wonderful food, so no complaints there, but the dining experience (especially in the evening) was awful. There were a lot of families there with babies and toddlers, nothing wrong with that but the noise and disregard for other people in the restaurant was at times unbearable. Not the hotel’s fault that people couldn’t supervise their children properly (in fact we felt sorry for the staff who had to clear up the incredible amount of food mess often left behind) I’m sure it would be fairly easy to create an ‘adult’s only’ area within the restaurant (the lower terrace area would be good?) So for this reason only we have given 4 stars and unfortunately would not return. With an adult’s only area we would be back like a flash as everything else was first class.

This is a nice hotel filled with fabulous staff surrounded by beautiful grounds and good rooms. This is our second visit in recent years and it has slipped on the food front. We booked on the basis of the a la carte restaurants. Last time there were 3 in the evening, now only 2 and now very hard to get a booking. In our week we only managed to get in twice. We actually ate in the village outside twice in the end. The buffet is perfectly good, but it’s a buffet and we prefer the mix of choices. Silly anomalies apparently put in by management, such as passion fruit daiquiri only available after 6pm? For us, it is sold and charged in the basis of eating choice and it isn’t available, so we won’t be back.

This is the best all-inclusive I've stayed in. Certainly it beats anything of comparable price in the Caribbean. The food is outstanding. Especial mention to Chef Thanasis at the Seaside Grill and the Oceana seafood restaurant. His dishes look and taste like fine dining. We stayed in the Preferred Club ocean view rooms. I'd recommend them as worth the extra money for the location and the large glass balconies. Forget the swim ups - they aren't worth it with so many good pools, plus the sea to play in. The staff have been courteous and helpful. No problems at all. The landscaping is immaculate, with lots of floral scents and there are enough sunbeds with shade to avoid any need for competitive bed-grabbing. I should find a fault but I'd be nitpicking. It's extremely professional, everyone buys into it, and you feel the luxury throughout

Not the luxury experience it is portrayed to be for the money you pay. We booked directly with the hotel, they emailed ahead to find out our arrival time, and yet we still had to wait for our room on arrival as they had allowed previous guests to overstay. Lovely views, central location, but the rooms in the main building seem tired, noise from the electric box droning on. Air condition unit leaking and the balcony doors didn't close properly and felt flimsy. One evening a handy man knocked as apparently our shower was leaking through the ceiling in to the bar below. No dressing table, and although we booked a sea view, the biggest view was of the roof of the restaurant below. I was expecting several restaurants from the blurb, however what they dont mention is for dinner there are 3 choices. The buffet restaurant, or if you can get in them, the greek or the seaside grill. The Italian and the seafood restaurant are lunch options only. Pool areas lovely - staff around pool really friendly. Buffet restaurant busy, can take ages for drinks to come, food choice fairly good however. a la carte restaurants good food - especially in the greek restaurant, but good service can be very hit and miss. Entertainment poor, nowhere for people to sit in the main bar area. I would give 4 stars if it hadn't been so much money, but the money we paid for a week in low season, is not worth the experience you get. When they charge prices like that, they need to provide the experience to match, and this sadly falls very short. The experience in the grecotels in kommeno is far superior for a very similar price.

Location - Beautiful location and hotel grounds. Not much around it but just a 20 minute stroll to a marina and little pebble beach. Also 20 minute taxi ride to Corfu town. Hotel/Room - Everywhere was clean and staff friendly. We stayed preferred club so had a separate lounge with reception, drinks, food and free computer use. Double room looking out over the sea was spotless and huge. Balcony was large enough to have a table and chairs as well as room to lay out World cafe - Food varied and always fresh. Loads of different foods catered for. Asian night was fab. There is also a separate kids buffet, or English tourist buffet!!!, comprising of chicken nuggets. Yiayia - Amazing food just wished there had been more to chose from Barefoot grill - Pizzas were really good as were the French toast. Nice location looking out over sea and pool Pools - At the front of the hotel is a large pool with waterfall and fountains. Has a sun deck and an Italian there Infinity pool near beach and looking out over sea Preferred pool consisted of two long pools but not very spectacular If you are looking for somewhere to relax in luxury and not really leave hotel then this is for you Only cons I could see - Would not recommend to wheel chair users or mobility issues as situated on a slope Preferred lounge didn’t have much of a good selection and no mint tea bags
