Louvre Hotel

Well what can i say absolutely perfect stay at Louvre Hotel ,rooms are basic,but clean ,everything you need is provided,the breakfast has so much choice ,and constantly topped up with more fresh,beautiful clean pool which was never busy,plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep and a bus service literally just round the corner,dont hesitate this is a great place to stay,will definetley be returning

This is a small hotel right in the centre of Gouvia town. On arrival we tried to log into the WIFI but failed. It worked intermittently over the next few days until it was fixed two days before we left. The rooms are small but adequate, with a good sized balcony. The bathroom is a bit of a disaster. It's set up as a wet room but it's too small. when the shower is used the toilet and entire bathroom floor get drenched and take a long time to dry out. The pool area out the back is great. it's usually quiet and the water is lovely. No shortage of sunbeds either. The breakfast is good also. It's a buffet with plenty of cold choices and a few cooked choices which were generally good. The location of the hotel is excellent. One minute walk to the beach .Two minute walk to the bus stop which will allow you to travel in to Corfu town in about 15 minutes. The busses can get very crowded so be prepared to stand, especially on the journey out of Corfu. The hotel staff are excellent, and really friendly.

very nice hotel lovely and clean staff very welcoming. pool area likewise , the breakfast was more then adequate with something for everyone . rooms a decent size with large balcony , tv , enough storage . bathroom a little compact and shower a bit difficult to negotiate due to the lack off a door . plenty of plug sockets and free wi. fi. only complaint was the noise on a night due to youngsters coming in and clearly no disregard for people sleeping . i might add they were groups of young italian lads

A lovely hotel right in the centre of Govia it has a large terrace bar at the front and has numerous restaurants and bars to both sides,the beach is a few minutes walk away . Our room 122 was overlooking the pool area it was a nice size with plenty of storage and modern air conditioning which was included, the bathroom is on the small size but adequate the shower was nice and powerful with constant hot water all you need for a holiday,it was very clean and was cleaned daily with fresh towels if needed. All the staff are an absolute credit to the hotel always greeting you with a smile and friendly greeting or chat. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of hot and cold food and was fresh and delicious. Overall a great hotel with lovely staff .

Just back from 4 nights at Louvre hotel and what a great hotel it is. A small basic hotel but everything you need. Rooms are more than adequate with large wardrobe, mini fridge, dressing table, balcony, safe, air con. Pool area is very inviting and plenty of sun loungers. Buffet breakfast is excellent, continental with cereal, pastries, toast, cheese, meats, yogurt and fruit as well as hot, bacon, eggs, sausage, tea, coffee and juice. Hotel has a great atmosphere and staff very friendly, always happy to help and very clean everywhere. Plenty of bars and restaurants and 2 minutes from beach. Taxi rank within 3 minutes walk. Would definitely return

This is our second visit to Louvre Hotel, Gouvia so obviously we enjoyed our first visit!. The hotel is right in the middle of Gouvia and plenty choice of restaurants and bars close by, so you’d never be stuck for somewhere to eat or drink. Louvre is a small hotel with 25 rooms, the rooms are nicely decorated and have recently been refurbished, yes they are basic but has everything you need for a nice relaxing break. The air con is a must in the height of summer, hairdryer and small fridge (god send) also complimentary shower gel and hand wash is supplied and there are tea and coffee facilities. The shower room is small and there’s no shower screen so water soaks the floor when your showering but there is a drain, a suggestion for management would maybe a squeegee would be useful instead of a bath mat as it gets soaked! The rooms are serviced everyday and the staff do an amazing job at this aspect with clean towels daily and sheets changed often 👍🏼 The pool area although small we never found a problem getting a lounger anytime of the day, a nice quiet spot to relax and chill for the day, not much for young kids to do but the beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast is a selection of cereal, cold meat, cheese, tomatoes, yogurts and fruit etc, there are also hot too with bacon, sausage and eggs and will satisfy most people. Finally not to go unnoticed all the staff who are friendly and helpful which is real positive to Louvre. Would I come back here again? most definitely.
