First of all, I’d like to highly praise the food. Everything was excellent, with a wide variety of options. Some meals were repeated, but it’s unrealistic to expect something different every single day. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is friendly. Wifi is strong. That’s where the praise ends. You can’t get in touch with the hotel in writing; they don’t respond to emails. If you have any questions, you have to call. We arrived at the hotel at 3 a.m., and no food was provided. Even in “worse” hotels, we’ve always received at least something. The room was very average, with a view of a wall — behind which was a street where every night around 11 p.m., someone would dump glass and make an unbelievable amount of noise. The sliding doors to the terrace were as thin as paper — you could hear everything from outside and from the neighbors. Even so, I would say that we had a quieter room. The rooms facing the bar definitely had it much worse. To get a sunbed by the pool, you have to reserve it no later than 7-8 am, otherwise there won’t be any left. In the whole hotel, there was only one competent and skilled bartender who made excellent drinks. The evening live music shows were pleasant, but unnecessarily loud. This hotel is very much a case of Instagram vs. reality. Many things you might have seen online are not actually in the hotel. Overall, they also treat people with a large Instagram following very differently from “regular” guests. If you’re a normal person on your honeymoon, don’t expect anything extra. For us, it’s just an average hotel. It’s not that we would label anything as truly bad, but there was nothing genuinely amazing either.
