Amara Comfort Resort

Hotel looks very nice for the first view, but too expensive for the average service. They need a lot to improve, to expand the capacity of restaurants, bars, to be renovated and to be cleaner. We were accommodated in block A, first they gave us a room without air conditioner at over 35C with an ordinary fan, but I managed to solve the problem and they moved us to another room. For the price they ask, they need to invest a lot. In terms of cleanliness, I have no complaints, and the guests are careless and I have the feeling that they don't really care when their children make a mess around the hotel. The employees are friendly and hard-working, all praises. We spent nice 10 days on the nice and clean beach and in very nice crystal sea.

I would never think i would be disappointed with a hotel this much, i am still there actually its my first day, its hit and lots off miss, they have a lot more guests then they can handle in my opinion,dinner time finding a table almost impossible and unfortunately i saw dirty plates and cutleries in clean ones,i can understand everything to a point but they have a very strange room, there is transparan curtain between room and bathroom and you can actually see when some1 having shower or doing toilet,complained many times but nothing,ao when 1 having shower others are either out or on balcony,such a holiday,

i really liked it here. the area is very nice with lots of shops to go to. there was loads of great activities for all ages. a great variety of food daily. the shows are good for all ages. very pretty views. great staff. great bar and loads of snacks for each time of the day. loads of icecream!!!!

Wonderfull place for family, kids. Very good servis, activitity, very frendly people! The food is delicious and so savory,full of flavor! Clean pools,the sea is also clear,and even better! They are close to the hotel! I will come again for sure!

Never stay in this hotel! It was the worst hotel experience of my life. It's not a 5-star hotel, and I cannot understand why it has a good rating. The problems started from the moment we arrived. 1. The cleanliness was appalling. The hotel and our room were dirty, with dust and hair on the floor and surfaces. The bed sheets didn't look clean either. The bathroom was in a terrible state, with streaked taps and a moldy shower cabin. The hotel staff was initially uncooperative, but eventually, the cleaning staff came and cleaned the room. 2. Many things were broken or damaged. From the table to the curtains and bathroom fixtures, everything was in disarray (see attached photos). 3. The room amenities were lacking. We only had one small blanket in the room, and there were no warm blankets provided. We had to request them separately. The cups were disposable instead of ceramic, and there were no spoons. The mini-bar was never restocked, and we didn't even use it. However, items from the mini-bar mysteriously disappeared, despite our non-usage. Additionally, there was no hair conditioner, slippers, or bathrobes. 4. The noise was unbearable. Our initial room faced the area with a nightly disco, and the noise level after 10 PM was intolerable. Even when we closed the windows, it felt like the party was happening in our room. Initially, the hotel staff claimed it was only twice a week until 11 PM, but it turned out to be every day until almost midnight. Despite our complaints, they were reluctant to move us to another room. After several attempts, we were finally moved to another side of the building, but then we had to deal with the strong smell of the kitchen near our balcony, making it unusable. 5. They initially showed no willingness to assist us with our concerns. It was only after repeatedly mentioning and complaining about our problems that they finally started to address them. 6. The food options were disappointing. There was a lack of fruits and vegetables, with melons and watermelons only available at dinner, and even watermelons disappeared after some time. Avocados were nowhere to be found. On one occasion, I found a worm in the bowl of rocket salad. Plates and tables were often dirty. Moreover, one of the hotel restaurants was closed, and when we tried to sign up for a free dinner at another restaurant, we were told it was fully booked due to several groups not even from the hotel. In general, I cannot recommend this hotel. It falls short of even a 3-star standard. The only positive aspects were the beautiful sea and nature, as well as the excellent car rental service provided by other organisation, which saved our vacation.

We stayed in Amara with two kids for a week in August. Rooms are decent. Food is fantastic, there is a choice for absolutely everyone. Staff has very poor knowledge of the English language and this is unacceptable. I would like to remind management that hotel guests are not only Russians, but we also come from other countries and that we need to get necessary information.
