H10 Costa Mogán - Adults Only

As with other reviews, yes the hotel is fairly isolated and quiet. The hotel is basically cut in to the cliff face, the rear which is where you access the sea facing rooms is pretty dreary, has been painted grey and is regularly prone to some pretty unpleasant smells. There are pros and cons, staff were really good, but, not enough of them. There are reviews about cold food, this is still the case on occasion, due to the food not being regularly checked and poor heating plates and overhead heat lights. Food is not replaced, for example, once a bowl of Walnuts was emptied, it would not be replaced, that sitting or the next. We were half board, as we do not drink a lot of alcohol, this worked out fine, we spent 300 euros as opposed to several hundred pounds, a big saving. However, if you were all inclusive, you still had to pay extra to have your coffee pods replaced in your room each day, in fact, nothing was topped up and not all alcoholic drinks were included in the All inclusive option either. We had issues with a poorly drainng sink, a broken chair and a liquid spray stain on the ceiling, we mentioned the first two and they were addressed. The cautionary safety issue is the shower tray, it is smooth, it slopes for drainage and when wet with shower gel, it is absolutley trecherous, again when raised as an issue we were provided with an anti slip mat. Would we go back, very unlikely, we have stayed at many hotels in the Canaries and for the cost, this was not value for money.

Excellent week in sun. Hotel is excellent. Stunning views. Animation team one of the best I have experienced. Staff in reception were really good and helpful. Staff in the bars and restaurants were superb. Easy access to puerto mogan and Puerto Rico. Bus is very cheap and regular. Taxi costs 17 euro. I would highly recommend.

Very lovely hotel by the sea in a very quite peaceful place.The hotel is small and compact but has everything you need. Almost all rooms facing the sea.Good food. All staff was so devoted, helpful and kind. ❤️❤️❤️ The yoga by the sea was so relaxing. Will go here again, absolutely.

We're still here, leaving tomorrow sadly. Overall this is a great hotel. The staff are excellent, work really hard. The hotel is spotless. Pool area lovely, but misleading in pics...half the hotel has been sold off for apartments, so the pool area is smaller than pics show. Misleading advertising. The pics you see with the gorgeous sunbeds, small pool...you have to pay €35 A DAY to use that special area. No thanks. Saying that we never had an issue getting sunbeds at the regular pool ( no crazy rush in the mornings). Water was cold but it is Jan! Our room was fantastic, big, clean, comfy, fabulous shower, small balcony. One downside was that the room was directly over the lounge bar so was noisy...but by 11pm/midnight ceased. We considered asking for a move but couldn't be bothered to repack/unpack. It wasn't bad enough tbh. Drinks were great, wine and beer on tap, cocktails good. One issue was there was only 1 barman on in the eve and this led to queues ....needed at least 2. Location...quiet which suited us. But we walked to Peurto Rico ( took half hr) and got the bus to Peurto Mogan ( took 12 mins or so) which was stunning. Our beach is kinda wild, but next bay along was calmer seas. Amadores was beautiful....can walk there in 20 mins. So with a bit of effort you can find some absolutely lovely places. Biggest downside...the food. Was tasty, lots of choice...but rarely hot enough. This put us off risking any sort of seafood. When there were cold Prawns on offer at the salad bar they weren't on any sort of cold plate....so we steered clear altogether. The weather was gorgeous...24° every day and not a cloud in the sky. Evening entertainment was good and bad tbh...a real mixture. Overall...we would defo come back. ...was so nice to get a break from freezing England!

We stayed at this hotel over New year. The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean and have very friendly and hard working staff. We stayed in a Junior suite which was very spacious and had a balcony overlooking the pools and sea. The food was consistently good with plenty of options to suit most tastes. The New Year Gala Dinner was exceptional and far beyond expectations. There was entertainment on every night which was good and an activity programme every day for those who wanted it. Not a great deal going on out with the hotel , a couple of restaurants and a bar within a 5 minute walk. Local busses are available outside the hotel , and a taxi rank to visit neighbouring resorts. Would be more than happy to return to this hotel again. A very good standard 4 star hotel.

Nice rooms, great staff. Food was very nice with a variety of beverages aswell. Animation team of Christian and Gabriel really had a lot of great activities planed every day. Easy to get help from our guides from Tui. Helpful staff in reception when ever we needed a taxi or anything else.
