Hilton Garden Inn Grand Forks-Und

Stayed here for a night. It was close to the interstate and their rates we good. Everything was as one would expect from this chain. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the front desk staff was friendly enough. There was really no outstanding things either way, therefore an overall rating of average. Would stay here again.

A nice hotel, great location, and everything is very clean and nice. It's a Hilton and you can expect things like a nice little bar, everything is fairly new, everything is clean. The room is quite standard to hotels in the 2-3.5 star class and is nothing special at all. It's just that it's clean and in good condition. It's understandable to not have a complimentary breakfast in a hotel that has a restaurant, however it's less understandable to have to pay for wifi. Overall I'd be happy to stay in this hotel again although it would only be if there was a good rate going for that night.

This was the Hilton garden I expected BUT I should have known that no matter where the Hilton is, you are sure to pay! The hotel was nice, extremely close to UND, clean, right off of the highway. The room was spacious, exactly what I would have expected under the Hilton name. he outside could have used a bit of work, but i can't forget its also in Grand Forks! I was not happy that I had to pay 13 bucks for the "continental" breakfast but its the Hilton, it always costs. Would have been a great place for my family and I if we were vacationing there. So I do recommend it. However, there are newer places right down the street.

This was a very nice clean hotel with a nice room. Front end staff when we checked in was having to take call after while checking us in as we could hear three different people in the room behind her laughing and talking loudly. Why would the floor manager allow front end staff to have to handle that all on their own while also checking people in? Food service for dinner was expensive with small portions and very very slow service. It was tasty. Breakfast was small for a Hilton and very over priced. We will not stay at this hotel again and it was a good reminder of why we are staying less and less at Hilton hotels.

Nice, clean hotel. Pleasant staff. No treadmill in fitness room, which is odd. The 3 egg omelette in the restaurant was so lame. It was the smallest omelette I have ever had with very little fillings. I would give the restaurant a 3/5. The prices for breakfast are too high for what you get. The potatoes are deep fired and gross. Will stay again because the rooms are good, but the restaurant lacks.

I picked this hotel because of proximity to UND and because it has a full-service restaurant. I didn't want to have to get out in the evenings when the wind chills were in the -20s to -30s. The room was a nice size, and the bathroom was pretty modern, but beginning to show a few signs of signs of wear. The front desk staff was not overly friendly. The worst experience was ordering dinner. They have the option of room service or picking it up yourself. I went down and got it, which is fine. But it took several times of calling to get someone to answer the phone. The person who it answered, who it turns out was the only person down there (server/cook/bartender, etc), was surly and out of it. When I got down to pick up our order, it was clear this individual was not fully coherent. He was not friendly. I ordered a cocktail and it was the worst old fashioned I've ever had. As was the meager Caesar's salad I ordered. My companion had the grilled cheese and fries, which he said were mediocre. To top it all off we got all the way to the room and there was no silverware in the bag, and I had to go all the way back down. Check-in and check-out on the app were easy. I didn't believe the lower ratings of this place because Hilton Garden Inns are usually so nice, but this experience was less than satisfactory.
