My stay in the ground floor apartment was absolutely brilliant. The owners are so kind and helpful. The room was very clean, with great decor. We also stayed for breakfast in the morning, which was delicious and brought to our apartment! Would definitely stay here again!

Would not stay here for free after watching you on four in bed. Enjoy that undeserved plaque. I hope you go bankrupt. You are both awful people. It’s not always about winning. When myself and my husband first saw your place we thought this could be a place to stay after staying in other hotels that we have seen on tour in bed. Wouldn’t stay here for free after watching you.

What a wonderful hotel - decorated to such a high spec- we want to move in!! We were able to upgrade to the butterfly suite which was extra special so we sampled the sauna and jacuzzi bath several times! Host was lovely and brekkie fab - such a special break and a birthday treat to be recommended!!

Over priced and hosts very obnoxious! Considering they won four in a bed I would expect much more. There were marks all over the sheets and dust in all corners and behind radiators. Place needs an uplift and could really do without being so pretentious. From working in 5 star spas and a cheaper price this certainly was not worth it

Greeted by two upside-down smiles. Room very poor; splashback on the toilet seat, leaking sewage pipe, dust in the radiator, and an overpowering smell of fabric conditioner. Breakfast was undercooked; I was told to "suck it up". Underpaid as this is a completion, and I am a game player.

We stayed here for a night following our wedding day at Windermere. Wow, what an experience. Jackie was the perfect host; we couldn’t have asked for more. The room was prepared with some extra special touches for our wedding such as balloons and rose petals on the bed. We asked for an early check in which Jackie kindly accommodated as well as giving us a complimentary room upgrade. We were met with a warm welcome, and Jackie showed us around, explaining how everything worked and giving us recommendations for coffee in the local area. The room was exceptional, absolutely worth every penny. The bathroom was the star of the show, with a jacuzzi bath, huge shower and sauna. Perfect for relaxing after our wedding. The bed was huge and comfortable, and we woke to a beautiful cooked breakfast and delicious coffee brought to our room. We were sad to leave, and we hope to come back again, maybe for our anniversary :-) Thank you, Jackie, for a wonderful stay from start to end. Jodie and Séb

Second time weve stayed this year. First was August hense why we're back!! Jackie is the best host, so lovely and welcoming both times. We stayed in the Private Master suite downstairs separate from the building. Absolutely gorgeous decor, quirky, clean. MASSIVE COMFY BED and huge jacuzzi bath tub you can lie in comfortably. I didn't use the sauna but my partner did, he highly recommends it too. Breakfast was lovely we got both breakfasts on the menu, full English and continental, all locally sourced 😍. Loved it from start to finish. We will definitely be staying again. 😍❤️😍❤️

Just watched 4 in a bed you cheated , you cheated to win and come first , cannot believe how you played it. You cheated again and again and was not fair on the others . No one will come to your place if they see this and see what sort of people you 2 are disgraceful !!!!!!!!!!!!

What a lovely one night stay! Jackie is so warm and welcoming and our room was beautiful, perfect as a base for a visit to Rogan & Co in Cartmel. Everything was clean and fresh and we had a delicious breakfast served to our room at our requested time. The house is huge and Jackie very kindly showed us round one of the suites, which was amazing with lounge, kitchen and sauna! Would we stay again? Definitely YES! WARNING: The hotel had two couples book two suites for the night we were there. It was discovered they'd registered with a fraudulent credit card. They turned up and were asked to pay upfront for their stay and due to Jackie's eagle eye and questions, they ended up scarpering clearly having no intention of paying! So, to anyone reading this review who think that they can con a stay out of a hard working couple with a small business, don't bother, you'll get found out!
