Motel Del Rogue

Stayed here in the past and most recently coming and going to Portland. So enjoy the sounds of the river rushing past the "cabin". The Motel Del Rogue is a charming, comfy, and clean place to stay. The hosts are helpful and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit!

I can't believe it's taken me so long to write this! My partner and I had the most amazing road trip stop here on our way from L.A. to Portland in late summer/early fall last year. It was so wonderful that we stopped here again on our way back home even though it meant a much longer second leg of our drive, haha. The property is stunning, and both rooms we stayed in were spotlessly clean! Beautiful, rustic decor, dog-friendly, and also spotlessly clean is basically my version of heaven. All of this, plus we got to meet/interact with each member of the family who owns the motel and they were all incredibly kind and helpful. We felt so safe at the Motel del Rogue, which is really important to us. This year we hope to make this a longer stay as opposed to a stop so we can relax and enjoy and have our Oergon friends come meet us. Can't wait!

My boyfriend and I were on a road trip and visiting Grants Pass (and Oregon) for the first time ever, and we happened to stumble upon Motel del Rogue. Initially, we were attracted to this place because they allow pets and our pet cat could stay with us, but when we arrived, it surpassed our expectations in every way. We were lucky enough to get a room on the second floor - which was incredibly spacious and included two bedrooms, a kitchen area and a large outdoor balcony that we could access directly from either bedroom. The balcony had a gorgeous view overlooking the Rogue River and we were immediately in love with the surroundings which included beautiful trees, the flowing river, and the mountains in the distance. In addition to the beautiful ambience of the motel, the only thing better was being able to meet the owners of the motel - Kevin and his family, who are the most genuine and kind folks you could meet on a road trip. They were so lovely to talk to (and by the way have the greatest pet cats - forgot the names! But so cute!), and not only that, they were the most accommodating and gracious hosts. We kept changing our checkout date each day and extended our stay about five different times, and they were so very kind and flexible about it. Further, our car had gotten a flat tire and we had to call a tow truck to help us out, and Kevin and family were so kind as to give us a discount on our room just to help ease the situation. Just overall really great people and wonderful service! We would undoubtedly stay here again when we pass through, and truly looking forward to it! Thank you again, Kevin and family!

I writing about my most amazing stay at Motel del Rogue. I was displaced for two months from my home because of a fire. The owners Kevin/Constance & Sylvia created a home for me, my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter during a difficult time. They also have the most amazing housekeepers Rhonda, Remy (from the Philippines) and Ray who also tend to you and spoil you. No one is a stranger to this establishment. They welcome everyone from everywhere. Pets are also welcome. The motel is set directly on the beautiful Rogue River with beautiful trees, birds, and everything involved with nature. I would like to come back again just as a visitor for a weekend get away. I understand they have a family group that comes once a year for 15 years now to have their family reunion. That should say something of what a friendly, homey place it is. Next time you’re in Grants Pass think about stopping by for a well welcome stay.
