Villa Medicea di Lilliano

My wife and I attended a wedding in this property. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that the guests were well taken care of, and that the event went through as smoothly as it could! But the real highlight of our stay here was what happened the next day. My wife and I booked a couple of tours in the property, one being the private picnic - which was absolutely amazing! The staff prepared a bottle of wine and a couple of snacks which we enjoyed while overlooking the Tuscan countryside.

My husband and I eloped here at the Estate and stayed in the Villa for 2 nights. We arranged everything from half a world away, sight unseen, and it blew all expectations we had- it was perfect. Chiara and the entire staff were so accommodating and kind. They really did all they could to make everything as easy as possible. It truly was a dream come true. The property is absolutely stunning and so peaceful. There is nothing I would change about this gem or the staff there.

My husband and I stayed in the Villa at Medicea De Lilliano four nights starting September 27th 2024 and I am truly missing the stay. The property is a beautiful very old vineyard and winery with beautiful accomodations that are well appointed, immaculate and very comfortable. All of the people who work on the property are kind, helpful and charming and their goal is to insure the best stay possible for their guests. Each morning a beautiful breakfast and capuccino was served by Katia who presented the meal with pride and a big smile. She is an artist. Our tour of the entire property was remarkable as there is so much history. Monica prepared a very special meal for us on our last night at our request and it was so amazing as she pared their own wines with her delicious presentation of local dishes. The location is perfect and you can drive the Chianti region easily from there. It is located near the town of Grassina just south of Florence making it easy to catch a plane at then end of your stay. I recommend this beautiful property very highly. Four of us did the tour plus light lunch. It was basically a private tour since only my family participated. The grounds were beautiful everywhere we looked (the gardens, terrace, wine cellars). It’s very close to Florence city centre but you still get the rolling hills of Tuscany views. Our guide Alessandro was very personable and knowledgeable about wines and the history of the estate, answering all of our questions. After the tour, we tasted four wines with an antipasto plate and lasagna. Well worth money, we were very happy with the experience!

Our tour guide was excellent. She shared the history of the Villa Medicea and its wine-producing products. We were served a four-course “light lunch” that included various salamis, cheeses, chicken paté, truffles, olives, Tuscan pomodoro, lasagna, bread, and almond cookies with five different wines. We were in a coma with this “light lunch”. It was well worth the money and time. We, there were nine of us, strongly recommend this vineyard villa tour.

We were there for a wedding of my daughter. Everything was amazing, very well organized by Ciara. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and it was a great pleasure to work with her. The villa was great, beginning with greeters/front desc and a room was huge and spotless. Axially it was an apartment with two floors full of kitchen supplies and very comfy bedroom. The linen was so crispy white and pillows so soft. Can't wait to go back. Miss this place terribly. Thank you so very much for making us so happy and having absolutely amazing wedding. So long guys!!! Can not appreciate enough the whole staff and administration of this wonderful facility.

What an absolutely lovely property!!! The entire staff was kind, welcoming and helpful. The Villas were so comfortable and cozy. We especially want to thank Denise for her time, her kindness, her recommendations and the generous nature with which she conducts her business. One of the best professionals I have ever met in the hospitality business. Thank you for everything Denise!

My group (12 of us) booked a private tour of the winery followed by a wine tasting and lite lunch. The grounds of the winery were breathtaking and rich with history. The wines we sampled were incredible (we did leave the tour with a few bottles) and the lite lunch was anything but lite - meats and cheeses, bread, lasagna and dessert. I. highly recommend visiting.

What a great experience ! Even in the rain the whole experience was tremendous from the history of the villa, to the views, then the wine cellars and lovely tasting and lovely lunch. Alessandro was a great guide. We would all definitely go back
