Wow! What a perfect place to stay from start to finish! Greeted with a very warm welcome and a generously sized room with lots of added touches! The swimming pool was a great place to relax and unwind. The cinema was fun, watched an action film with Dbox seats and complimentary fresh popcorn. Finished the night with bar billiards and darts in the games room. It had the perfect hosts. Breakfast was 10 out of 10. Will definitely be back again.

Just have to say this is a wonderful bed and breakfast with superb facilities. Beautifully kept and immaculate you have the added benefit of heated indoor pool, cinema room and bar/games. The owners are lovely and friendly looking after you superbly. Our room had an extremely comfortable large bed and modern en-suite. Lots of lovely extras like sweets and drinks with a very quiet fridge. Unsurprisingly the breakfast choice was excellent with a hearty cooked breakfast. Sadly I had strained my knee so could not use the facilities but wife had a great time in the pool where you can book your own private time. As with all the other well deserved reviews if you are looking to stay locally then book up at the Dunmow you won’t be disappointed.

I was invited to join in Kellys 50 birthday celebrations My first time staying in this wonderful gem of a guesthouse Rob and Ruth made me us all so welcome The beds were so comfortable Rooms spotless Wonderful pool and cinema room Fab cooked breakfast Would highly recommend I will be back in May 😊

When we first arrived, we turned up at the wrong guest house just a couple doors down! There was a skip outside and it looked completely empty inside. Ruth was incredibly helpful in guiding us to what was an equally breathtaking location but for a different reason, luckily for us! From the hot home cooked breakfast every morning, to the luxurious indoor swimming pool and cinema, Dunmow guest house really is an exceptional place to stay. Ruth and Robert were amazing hosts who really made us feel welcome. They were very helpful and accommodating, allowing my partner to use their garage for his bike. The only bad thing about our stay is that we had to leave afterwards! Thank you Ruth and Rob :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The swimming pool was a lovely addition and a good breakfast was included. We would definitely stay again.

We were attending a wedding reception nearby and were recommended this B&B. Impressed by by reception, and shown round by the host, Cinema, swimming pool! Our rooms on the first floor, well-appointed, large bed, separate shower and toilet. The bed was fantastic comfortable and lots of room. Despite overlooking the main road into the town, it was quiet overnight. Brilliant breakfast, freshly cooked, hit food. All in all very good experience and would recommend to anyone!

Amazing stay! 5 star quality, exceptional hospitality. Everything included down to gowns and slippers for the pool. Spotless clean, excellent quality of food and Robert and Ruth very welcoming . Everything you need in the rooms, fridge stocked up, tea,coffee. Great cinema experience.

We booked a last minute night away on a Friday night as a couple. From the moment we arrived we had everything we needed. Rob couldn't have done more for us, the facilities were exceptional- we made use of the indoor heated pool, watched a movie in the cinema room and enjoyed darts & billiards in the games room with our own drinks! We had a large double room, en-suite, mini-fridge, hot drink facilities and complimentary chocolates and biscuits! Breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and a cooked meal of our choice! We have recommended the Dunmow guest House to many of our friends and can't wait to return for another night soon! Thank you! Chloe & Danny
