The place was so nice and relaxing, hospitality was on another level, professionalism of the host was super. The place was clean and smelling nice, beds were comfortable anf and pillows soft and clean, i would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a place to relax

The lodge is the the best I have ever seen. Nicely located easily accessible. Best brunch you can ever have they save nice and spacious rooms. Nice food they have great staff they have the service is of great standards you will never regret visiting the lodge

A great experience we had in this place, lot of good things are happening here, the food, rooms are extraordinary and the fun we had was very awesome. I can vouch for this place for people to visit and explore this place. 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️

It’s very difficult to find this place as the Google location is not accurate and if you cannot make a call to the establishment you would never find it. Be sure to get written directions before you set out. Once there it’s far from any restaurants so you really have to eat there. Fortunately the food is good, but they send you a message in the morning of your arrival and ask you to choose your dinner meal! Not all affordable wine is available but they accommodated my choice of Pinot Noir. The breakfast is good. The place is in need of a refurbishment and hasn’t been well maintained. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom spacious but lacking a vanity to place your toiletries and they only provide 2 bath towels so you have damp towels in the morning. There are different coloured random hangers in the wardrobe which lowers the tone of the suite immediately. Very bare bathroom walls, could do with heated towel rails or heating as the space was cold even in summer. Robes are luxurious. The view is beautiful and a path leads you down to the beach below. The entry into Gansbaai and to the hotel from the Hermanus side is very unattractive and uninspiring. Once in the estate the fynbos is lovely and buck walking around is lovely.

1) We slept in suit 2, which is above the kitchen. All the cooking they do you smell it in your room. 2) The balcony is not private you share it with the guest from suite 1, when the guest from room 1 walk your bathroom they can look right into it, no privacy. Also other guest can walk from the garden onto the balcony. 3) food is very good but menu is very limited, we ate at different places after first night. 4) Cushions outdoor furniture dirty. 5) There is a first for everything, but a safe just put in the closet I never heard of. 6) The 2 armchairs on the pictures of this room are gone, instead you have a very uncomfortable small cough.
