The most beautiful thatched boutique hotel set in a very peaceful and stunning location overlooking the lagoon. Heaven!! It is about 5kms outside Hermarnous so not far and taxis available if needed. Our room, The Waterfall Suite was beyond beautiful. Honestly, have never stayed in such a beautifully decorated and clean room overlooking the stunning lagoon. The bedding is wonderful, the bed huge and very comfy. The balcony area was amazing and even had a personal sauna. The pool area is again very beautiful and peaceful set in fabulous gardens. The dining/lounge/bar area is also sublime. The food was very nice. A big thank you to Kim and all the wonderful staff who without exception were warm, friendly and wonderful. They couldn't do enough for you. Thank you. I am so sorry but i have forgotten the name of the lovely lady that looked after us most days. So sorry!! We stayed three nights and was very very sad to leave. If you want an amazing and memorable experience I would urge you to stay here. We have no hesitation in recommending The Thatch House and will most definitely return. Thank you again to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is stunning and very peaceful. The staff especially Rory were all very helpful . We normally like to eat out in restaurants but the food here was so good we ate here twice during our three night stay. Drinks in the lounge before dinner were so relaxing and we were never rushed to sit down for dinner. Some of the rooms overlooked the lagoon but we had a mountain view which was picturesque with comfortable lounge chairs on the patio to take in the view . We have rebooked for next year but increased our stay to five nights .
