This lakefront home has plenty of space for family or friend groups to gather together with a separate sleeping area to allow room to spread out! The main level living space has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room, a screen porch used as an enclosed eating area, and a large deck overlooking the lake. The lower level has a game room with a second equally spacious covered deck and an extra sleeping area with a full/twin bunk and an odd little bathroom area. The upstairs has a loft area with and large bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, a queen/twin bunk and full/twin bunk. There is a private bathroom for this room. In addition to the main house, there is a separate 2-bedroom space and its own private living space (no kitchen) and deck. There is a fully stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, and linens are provided on request. We have central air throughout the house and apartmentThere is a private floating dock available from early April through fall. A community boat launch is just 0.3 miles down the road. 2 kayaks and a paddle board are available for your use. The community center also has a swimming pool, playgrounds, tennis courts and basketball court. Boat and jet ski rentals are available on the lake Memorial Day through Labor Day. The dock is in a protected cove across from Cairns Island. This is a beautiful location in a very popular NO WAKE ZONE! Swim right off the dock. Cairns Island has a picnic area and beach, and there is a bald eagle nest just down the road.THIS IS A STEEP MOUNTAIN PROPERTY WITH MANY STEPS DOWN TO THE LAKE. The marina is close by and could be used to pickup/drop off anyone who might have trouble with the steps. The main level of the house can be accessed with just two small steps and a firepit also on the same level as the driveway. Winter rentals please be aware that the driveway is extremely steep requiring 4wheel drive. When icy, sometimes it cannot be plowed, and it may be necessary to park at the top of the drive and use the stairs.Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday.We want you to have a great vacation and are always looking for ways to make your stay more enjoyable. The master king bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and ROKU TV. The second king bedroom shares a full hallway bathroom with the twin/ twin bunk room. This cozy home is heated and cooled by individual split units; the living room and master bedroom also have ceiling fans. Enjoy your morning coffee seated on the rocking chairs on the covered front porch. The rear deck has a picnic table with benches. The fire pit area has poly adirondack chairs and Edison lights around its perimeter. The living room has a beautiful electric fireplace insert and comfortable seating as well as a large flatscreen television. Wi-Fi functions well for TV and cell service. Prepare meals in the nicely equipped kitchen with a toaster and both pod type and drip coffee makers. The dining table seats six. Brand new full sized refrigerator and stove in 2023. This is a convenient location for Promised Land State Park, Skytop adventure park, Lake Wallenpaupack, dining, antique hunting, adventure/water parks, wineries and much more. We have provided DVD’s with player, books, games and puzzles along with a smart TV in the living room with ROKU and fast, free Wi-Fi. There is a full-sized washer and dryer available for your use at no additional charge. We provide sheets, pillows, quilts (and an extra blanket) for each bed as well as towels for showering. We include starter toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap and a few basic cleaning supplies, trash bags, new dish sponge for each rental. We are fully inspected and permitted annually by the local township. No parties and no loud noise permitted.
