Tru by Hilton Greensboro Lake Oconee

Hilton was very unhelpful when we were staying there for one night after Hurricane Helene. Very rude front desk and manager. We had been without power for 9 days and had driven over for a one night stay. I asked for the manager over the hotel but only got the night manager. Won’t be staying at Hilton again.

As a picky hotel person, I found this hotel, clean, employees very friendly, breakfast was simple and perfect. There are a couple of restaurants across the parking lot that are convenient. Hotel was newer and my room has simple tasteful decor and most of all clean.

Nice hotel. Nice rooms. Lobby is very cool and comfy. Staff was very unfriendly though and not available or approachable in any way. Breakfast had a lot of choices. None of them tasty though. Not a bad stay for one night stopping through.

We recently had a family reunion there and it was awesome. The staff was the most accommodating and professional group of people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I cannot say enough about how nice these people were. The location was ideal for places to eat. If you can’t find find somewhere to eat, you aren’t hungry. The room had a unique style and I loved it.

Check in time was very strictly at 3 pm. I understand that early check ins are not guarantee but the attendant told me that I should have booked the night before to ensure I had a room early. Once in the room, the bathroom was a bit dirty, the remote control had tape on the back of it and there was some of the wallpaper lifting off the wall. There aren’t too many hotels in the area so it’s fine if you need to be in Greensboro but not the best value for what I paid, which was about 300 for the night. I had someone knock on my door at 7 am and then housekeeping from 9 am when checkout isn’t until noon.

Leslie was the rudest person to answer the phone to help with my reservation. Hung up on me, had the information incorrect- told me the hold on wedding rate rooms had passed when in fact after speaking with corporate it had not. She hung up on me before even attempting to offer me another room.

I had a great stay at Tru by Hilton in Greensboro, GA. The room was perfect and well equipped. I really liked the bath product dispensers on the wall. The beds were comfortable. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They obviously are gifted in southern hospitality. The hot breakfast was very basic but there's multiple inexpensive options for meals just a few steps away from the hotel. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be staying at Tru.

tv wasn't working i was told Maintenace men wasn't there so I was without a tv other than that it was ok pool was dirty my family stated. i stated need a shuttle to get from 1 area to next in Atlanta

I stayed at the hotel for business trip and it was the perfect choice! The hotel is clean, nice decor, functional, and everything you could need. There is a great lobby area with many sitting areas to socialize or do work, and the morning breakfast is very good. There is a 24/7 snack bar and coffee/tea. The rooms are also comfortable and clean. And the service is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful and hands down I would stay here again for any business travel. The hotel is also very convenient to downtown Greensboro. So pleased with my stay and can’t say enough good things about the service and friendliness!
