My mom and I stayed at the Belmont Plantation B&B on our way to Natchez to celebrate her 90th birthday. The house and grounds are so beautiful with lots of period pieces decorating each room. Even though it is was elegant and like stepping back in time, it was also very cozy and felt like home. Brad, the owner, has done a wonderful job decorating this home. He was very friendly, informative and welcoming. Breakfast was the best we had our whole trip. It was my mom’s favorite meal on our trip. It was nice to have the ability to have a room that was on the bottom floor so my mom didn’t have to worry about the stairs. The claw foot tub in our room was perfect for my mom, who doesn’t like showers. The porches with rocking chairs were a nice touch and there was also an adorable cat named Captain, who greeted us every time we sat out on the porch. Thank you to Brad for a lovely visit. I have told all of my friends about this place and recommend this for anyone traveling through the Greenville, MS area.

This was my second trip to the Belmont, and it was just as amazing as the first visit. The antebellum plantation is absolutely breathtaking, from the decor, grounds, artwork etc! Our host, Bradley was incredible, informative, and he has a wealth of information about the mansion and town of Greenville. The rooms, bedding, and amenities were top-notch. And let’s not forget about the breakfast – perfection. Egg soufflé, homemade cinnamon roll, homemade yogurt topped with berries and pickle marinated bacon with seasoning – unbelievable! Also, Captain, the kitten stole our hearts. Sweetest kitty ever. Thank you, Bradley for a beautiful stay.

The Belmont takes you back in time but with modern amenities that make you feel cozy and pampered! The beds are so comfortable, and you won’t find a cleaner place. The breakfast is to die for! Brad's home will truly feel like home to you for the duration of your stay. So quiet and peaceful!

The Belmont 1857 was a beautiful place to stay. Well kept up and a nice place. The owner of the home is very friendly and welcoming. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history from the home and area. I would highly recommend staying here.

As soon as we drove down the gravel entrance, the road led us straight as an arrow to the Belmont Inn only steps away from the River Road (highway 1 south). I felt an indisputable sense of belonging…a true welcoming. I had ventured back to where I was nurtured, where I raised children, where I witnessed genuine compassion. I had driven my Hill Country, MS friend from Oxford, on another Delta road trip we ventured on some several years back. She was somewhat amazed at the genuine hospitality shown to a stranger. I’m a 40 year product of the Delta region, living just 20 minutes north of Belmont. All this to say, a night or two stay at the Belmont Inn may just surprise you. I have no suggestions. Only praises. And the history lesson will be worth the drive.

Came in for a long weekend and it was like we had walked into paradise. Chatting with Brad was like catching up with an old friend. The accommodations were top notch and the breakfast was fabulous. He shares the history of the house at breakfast and at check in. Cannot recommend staying here enough. Spent the entire first day on the property reading in different areas of the house. Given the opportunity to head this way again, we will definitely be back.

Loved everything about our stay at this beautiful antebellum plantation home! From the gorgeous furnishings, to the delicious food and the delightful conversation with Brad…it was simply wonderful! Recently we stayed at The Belmont 1857 and it was like stepping back in time. We were allowed to roam free to explore the rooms and we sat on the porch in rocking chairs to watch the sun go down. The breakfast was phenomenal. Don't miss that treat! Also they made you feel very comfortable with follow up on your upcoming stay with confirmation emails. Owner was very available for any needs. Great place!

My husband and I stayed at The Belmont 1857 after visiting the BB King Museum in Indianola. The Belmont is a lovely property, beautifully maintained and comes with wonderful hospitality. Bradley welcomed us to the property, helped with luggage, and gave a very informative history of the property over a delicious breakfast.The mansion has been loving restored and each room we saw was decorated with antiques. It is a wonderful place to stay when visiting the Blues Trail in the Mississippi delta. We plan to return when visiting this area in the future!
