Sandals Dunns River All Inclusive Couples Only

To be honest, I wasn’t looking forward to this destination. It was chosen by others in our travel group. Almost immediately upon arrival I was starting to regret my concerns. The staff was simply amazing, from the front desk reception to the bars and water sports center. Int the week we were there only one little hiccup at one restaurant… we are a group of 5 couples, we had made arrangements and the person was quite upset with us. This was the only incident. Fellow divers, this group of divers is awesome. Mike is the man! The diving was much nicer than I expected as Jamaica not necessarily the first choice. Having been to St Lucia, Barbados, Curacao and Grenada thus far (All Sandals) I would stack this diving up with all to some extent…. Grenada still favorite… The DMs, and entire water sports team at this location is exceptional. All the food was exceptional, as expected, with one evening the chicken for one in our group overdone. The entertainment was ok, Curacao is still hands down the best entertainment. Have to consider that this is a small resort, and it was fun and we created our own entertainment and nightly karaoke with a few other groups

We visited this stunning resort twice while staying at Sandals Royal Plantation. Such a gorgeous setting w/beautifully appointed details which were evident throughout the grounds. The two restaurants we dined at (Edessa & Banyu) were quite good. We were thrilled to meet the wonderful GM at Edessa, Tenesha! She was beyond hospitable and lovely! She made us feel as if we were eating in her home, oh so welcoming!

The property is beautiful. The staff was amazing. The decor ooo my GOD I love love love it. My butlers went all out especially Venice she set up my room and tub in such a romantic fashion. The Food is to die for so guys you have to visit Banyu restaurant the meals are amazing. So my spouse and I ate their two consecutive nights. 1st night we met chef Vikram was very professional. 2nd night we went back chef Vikram made us special meals and I tell you the food was superb delicious, had all the right flavors my taste buds went wild., I tell you the taste is still in my mouth as I write ✍️. Everything about sandals Dunns River was perfect. Oooo almost forgot the Red lane spa ooo my God once you walk into that spa area its so relaxing, the Aroma Everything about that space just takes away all you stress.

The grounds are beautiful. The service in restaurants is great. If you book, recommend that you include butler service. If you do not have this, you will have to get up at 5am to get ANY chair at the pool and you may still not get one. There is no poolside drink service and no room service unless you have a butler. No hard alcohol offered in room. I prefer Excellence resorts for total inclusion of all amenities. While the service is a bit less, their comprehensive offering far exceeds for price.

I loved this resort the staff was amazing!! Chairs on the beach were easy to find got a bit tougher on the weekend but we survived. The restaurants were great, never had a bad meal!!! At the beach bar Ashley/Tyrell and Mark took great care of us! Conrad (pictured below 2nd pic)with the entertainment stuff was awesome. Our caddy at golf (sorry do not remember his name) was awesome!!!

Sandals Dunn's River was amazing!!! My Wife and I went there for our Honeymoon and it was breath taking. Beautiful and clean the staff members were friendly and welcoming from the moment we got off the bus. The food was delicious and there were multiple bars so we never waited more than 2 mins for a drink. They had different settings every night and they also had events/games during the day. The names below are staff members whose names i did manage to get, definitely wish i would gotten more names. However these went above and beyond! you all really made it special for us. Thanks!!
