Extended Stay America Suites - Denver - Tech Center South - Greenwood Village

We had two rooms, the one room was in horrible condition, not clean, holes in the couch, lightbulbs out etc. Upon returning very late from a concert, this room had a cockroach crawl out of the pillowcase! When we approached the front desk, the only employee was the laundry guy, who really had no authority to do anything. We packed up both rooms and moved to the Sleep Inn. When we approached the manager the next morning regarding a refund he said he could only refund one room because only one had cockroaches.. this was before we showed him pictures or mentioned the bugs. They knew this room was infested. We were traveling with 4 teenagers, we certainly weren't going to send them to a different hotel without us, plus if one room is infested, more rooms are. The 2nd room which was in marginally better condition was only a few doors down from the infested room. We are now having to argue with corporate for a full refund of the 2nd room.

Well apparently the general manager Stuart at the tech center location doesn't train the employees how to check identification before they hand out door card keys. I went to the front desk because my door key wasn't working again and a guy walks up ask for a door key card for a room a gets it with out question. Hopefully it was HIS ROOM.

Rooms were dirty and smelled like someone chained smoked in them for the past 20 years. They also don’t accommodate to large families I paid for a suite with six people when we checked in the room there was only three towels and when I asked for extras the man at the front desk said they’re not supposed to give extras but would give me two. And when the say breakfast included they mean granola bars and coffee

I had stayed for about a month and tried to switch to a smaller room for a cheaper rate. I was paying a weekly rate of about 650 never before paying for less then a week at a time and when I tried to pay for a week in a smaller room and it was 810. Not one of the three employees really knew what to do and the one sitting in the back that the manager kept looking to for advice came out and said I had been switched over to daily payment at some point and she doesn’t know why I’m paying the weekly payment in the first place, which was news to me, and that I wasn’t going to be able to get a weekly rate trying to pay for a week for the new room or my old room now. The worker who had taken my payment several times before then gave me a number to call to make a reservation inevitably for the original rate taking up about an hour of my time. Then while waiting for the elevator I heard the lady who told me to pay up remark to the rest of the desk, “I hate people like that” right in front of another customer. I would be nice if the people I’m paying are also able to provide the correct payment amount if that requires making a reservation on spot or not and to show respect to their customers instead of trying to scam $200 a week out of them because they’re to old to work a computer or do their job in general. I also heard her on the phone with another customer in the same situation her giving an absurd rate and the customer having to hear the same circus act, “That’s the weekly rate online” without any regard as to how to solve the problem she’s creating like someone calling in advance isn’t trying to make a reservation if that’s what’s required to not get scammed.

If you want to be treated like garbage by a teeny tiny little gremlin of a man this is the place for you! Jeff, the new manager will gladly accommodate you. Sarcasm aside, this place isn’t worth the money. AT ALL. The place is always filthy, bums hang out in the stairwells at night and the new management is a joke. Seriously, folks, stay ANYWHERE but here.
