Our stay at Ellex Eco Hotel in Gressoney was absolutely outstanding! The hotel combines eco-consciousness with charm and comfort. The rooms were beautifully designed, with natural materials and cozy touches that made us feel instantly at home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to sustainability was evident throughout the property. The location is perfect, nestled in the quiet and picturesque village of Gressoney, with easy access to the ski slopes and hiking trails. The views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of fresh, local products that set us up perfectly for a day outdoors. The hotel’s spa was another highlight, offering a serene place to unwind after a day of adventure. Ellex Eco Hotel truly exceeded our expectations, offering the perfect mix of sustainability, comfort, and excellent service. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Gressoney area!

We have chosen this hotel as we like small and cozy places. Especially when they follow climate friendly philosophy. The hotel is located in Tschaval, small town, which is part of the big Monterosa Ski area. Clean rooms, good service and very good breakfasts. Sleeping conditions were absolutely great. Silence and peace by the fire places downstairs in the lobby, that`s all you need after perfect day of skiing. Be careful, the hotel does not offer dinners , only breakfasts BUT there are a couple of good restaurants and you can also eat in shelters up in the mountains while skiing.

We had a lovely long weekend stay here, the rooms are clean and very comfortable with beautiful views, the breakfast is exceptional, the spa and resident masseuse are great, there’s a lovely log fire to sit by for aperitifs and staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. Only one word of warning, this place is up a hill so expect some steep ascents and descents (albeit short) on potentially icy paths to get down to lifts and restaurants. Shouldn’t put you off unless you are frail and they were kept in as good conditions as the weather allowed.

A wonderful stay at Ellex, our many email queries prior to arrival were answered speedily. Lovely rooms and very relaxed vibe and a varied and delicious healthy breakfast each morning. The ski in and out works brilliantly with a great ski locker and hot boot warmers making the morning race for first lift easier :) I also appreciated the spa in the basement with sauna, steam and warm jacuzzi, so relaxing after a long day on the mountain. The village although small has something for everyone and you are greeted with smiles at all the bars restaurants and shops. The skiing was fab with many varied runs with spectacular scenery, the black run Olen being my favourite vista. We are hoping to return in the summer time. This must be the sweetest place I ever visited. Although I am used to more vary breakfast in skiing resorts - this lady made everything she could to satisfy my picky needs. All staff is very very helpful and so kind. I was going to write some bits and pieces that the hotel was missing - but I just can’t. They will do anything to keep you happy.

Very good hotel. Nice and spacious rooms (we stayed in a double with an extra bed). Everything very clean. Big bathroom. Spa is nice (you have to book a timeslot to avoid crowding). Breakfast is very good, not only Italian cakes but yoghuth, eggs, bread etc. also. Staff is extremly helpful with bookings for dinner, transfer etc. Hotel has ski-in from Alagna side when snow permits. 3 min walk to the lift. Staffal is not much to expire in the evenings thouhg, about 5 restaurants. There is a free ski-shuttle bus that goes to Gressoney-la-trinite that one can use for dinner in the evenings. Takes 10 minutes. For skiiing in Monterosa-ski, Staffal is optimal. It's in the middle of Champoluc-Gressoney-Alagna so you could easily ski either side of the system. All-in-all I could recommend the hotel very much.

Really nice hotel and friendly staff. Parking next to hotel. Clean roomd and generally very nice athmosphere. Breakfast was more than enough with you would like to have. Excellent location near two lifts to the separate valleys. Big recommensation!!

Abbiamo cenato in questo hotel convenzionato con quello in cui abbiamo alloggiato che si trova a poche curve di distanza. L'esperienza è stata eccellente e mai avevamo mangiato un purè di patate così indimenticabile, tanto da spingerci a chiedere allo chef la ricetta! Arrosto di maiale morbidissimo e succulento, primi della tradizione italiana preparati con cura, dolci degni di una pasticceria!

Purtroppo non siamo stati entusiasti di questo soggiorno. L'hotel è carino, ma il servizio non all'altezza per molti particolari. Colazione buona nonostante continue mancanze, mentre le cene assolutamente da evitare. Il prezzo pagato non giustifica una così scarsa qualità del cibo, servito spesso anche non alla giusta temperatura. Scelta molto scarsa, dolci uguali tutte le sere, pane spesso non fresco e quindi riscaldato! La Spa minuscola ma carina...non compresa nel prezzo!!!! Anche il personale non così disposto verso il cliente con proposte, consigli o piccole attenzioni che risulterebbero molto gradite. Avevamo tante aspettative che sono rimaste disattese...Un gran peccato! E ribadisco che il prezzo pagato è stato tutt'altro che adeguato.
