Welcomed as soon as we parked up. Nothing was too much trouble. The room lovely and clean. In a great location and the breakfast was fantastic. Thankyou very much to our hosts. Wish we’d have stayed the second night rather than down the road for a wedding

We saw all the amazing reviews on trip advisor & no wonder they are all great , the place is immaculate , everything is just 1st class . Our hosts Maurice & Laureen were so friendly & lovely to talk too . The beds are so comfortable with beautiful bedding & the rooms are lovely too . They have thought of everything & the breakfast was totally scrumptious & the yoghurt too . We stayed for 3 days & it was so relaxing . Thank you ,we will be back x

We stayed here last night for our 21st wedding anniversary, a gift from our daughter, as we were married in Gretna Green. From the moment we arrived and were greeted at the door until the moment we left, Maurice and Loreen made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for. The room was charming and, without a doubt, one of the cleanest accommodations I’ve ever stayed in—which is very important to me. I couldn’t find a single speck of dust anywhere. The two-course breakfast was absolutely delicious, with so much attention and care. Thank you so much for hosting us and helping to make our anniversary truly special.

My wife booked this guest house for the Friday night as it was close to Carlisle for the start line ot The Wall Ultra on Saturday morning. The amazing couple who run this place couldn't do enough for us.... Maurice and Laureen are super hosts. They were happy for my wife Sandra to leave early to drop me off, watch me start, then return and get back to bed before they served her breakfast and accommodated a later check out . Not only this, but they left me a goodie bag to take to the race with me!! The guest house was spotless and immaculately presented. On site parking is very helpful, and with several dining options within walking distance. I would happily say that for any Rat Racers looking for Friday accommodation this place is perfect, and only 15 minutes from the start at Carlisle Castle. We would happily return to Bojangles!!!

We booked BoJangles as a stopover on our way to the NE of Scotland. The room was excellent, very well furnished and the bed was super comfy. Maurice and Laureen both welcomed us personally and made sure we had all we needed. The full English breakfast cooked by Laureen was one of the best I’ve had and set us for the rest of the day. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

100% recommend a stay at Bojangles. You are greeted with the warmest of welcomes, the comfiest and cleanest of rooms and a great night’s sleep is guaranteed. Just what is needed after a long journey. We had to check in late after delays and this was no trouble at all. M&L are genuinely lovely and care about their guests. Book now, you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful genuine warm welcome from Maurice and Laureen, beautiful room and fab breakfast. Treated like old friends rather than guests. Only suggestion would be for future guests to be aware that local places to eat, all stop serving food at 8pm so if you are planning to eat locally go early!

We stayed at Bojangles for our Wedding.We had the most Amazing few days here.The couple who ran the Guest house did an awesome job at making us feel at home.Its the little touches that they do,which to be honest you don't normally get make the difference. We were there a couple of days before our wedding and felt so comfortable and relaxed,besides the breakfast that they did which was different everyday (wow).Beds so comfortable,cookies yum!.There is not one bad thing to say about this place.Well done Maurice and Laureen.
