Hotel le Grand Chalet Gstaad

Phenomenal food, very good wine selection, excellent service, would go back in a heartbeat! We stayed at the Hotel Le Grand Chalet for a skii weekend with our friends and we enjoyed it very much. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to pamper us.

I recently stayed one night at the chalet and had a great experience. The person working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. My room had a balcony with a beautiful view of Gstaad and the surrounding mountains, and it was reasonably priced, esp. given how high end Gstaad is. A nice breakfast was included. I also enjoyed the delicious welcome chocolates. Note that it's about a 15 minute uphill walk from town to the hotel, but they do offer shuttle service to/from town. They have a nice sauna/steam room area that is available that can be reserved for one hour private use. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was good though pretty pricey. I would definitely recommend this chalet!

A wonderful experience on every level. Cozy, warm friendly ambiance. Professional, welcoming management. Superlative staff and one of the best restaurants in the region. Oh, and the unbeatable view! Highly recommend for all occasions.

Le Grand Chalet is a wonderful boutique hotel in the beautiful town of Gstaad. The property truly embodies what the town promises… ”Come Up Slow Down”. The views from the property are breathtaking & the location tranquil. The property is truly made special by its great professional, dedicated & wonderful team. Not to mention the excellent selection of food & wine at La Bagatelle, which in our opinion is the best restaurant in town. Having stayed at the property multiple times earlier, we returned in June 2022 for yet another wonderful stay. Each team member is wonderful, but thanks to Carole, Fabienne, Kristina, Martine, Charles, Patricia, Barbara, Margaux, Joris, Diana & Pedro who helped make our stay so special. The only regret was they could have organised better weather, given the heat wave across Europe. 😉

Vraiment parfait ! Accueil chaleureux et sympathique, belle chambre propre avec jolie vue, restauration délicieuse… Nous y venons régulièrement depuis plus de 16 ans et cette qualité nous ravit à chaque séjour passé dans ce cadre de rêve. Nous recommandons vivement l’Hotel Le Grand Chalet !

Accès aisé .Bel accueil.Bons conseils boissons-mets. Succulents plats gouteux.Me suis " régalée".Ai pu deguster le foie gras avec du chutney mangue et dattes accompagné d' une brioche grillée puis l' excellent pigeon très tendre entouré de petits légumes avec une purée légère et pour finir la tatin revisitée.Tout fut délicieux.Non obséquieux .Cadre cosy. Que du professionnalisme et de la gentillesse.Agréable de pouvoir parler francais .Merci et à bientôt Grand parking
