The hotel building is old and has been renovated. The rooms are large and have very good facilities. The hotel breakfast is located on the 30th floor and is very complete and has a beautiful view of the city. The staff is very nice. Unfortunately, I saw a cockroach in the hotel lobby, which was very pathetic!!!

The location is very excellent, close to the metro station, markets and international restaurants. The staff are friendly, the room is good but needs attention to cleanliness. You can see dust in the corners and the bathroom doors are not clean at the top.

It's one of the worst 5 stars hotel in China! Staff pushed to take our pictures for a security reason during check-in which is a clear humiliation! Non of the electric plugs were working in the room, no tissue in the whole room, too old stuffs in the room, hot water had a problem and the door was broken! SPA is only for ladies not for men which is very weird! For breakfast, tea was cold, watermelon was rotten and generally very few options for foreigners! Definitely not worth for the money you pay..

It is a wonderful 5 stars hotel, conveniently located and with all amenities, the staff are extremely nice, we had wonderful and pleasant stay in Baiyue Hotel. I will book this hotel next time around Guangzhou

We had a wonderful stay at Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel! The location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering great comfort after a long day. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. Overall, a perfect combination of comfort and service—I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is quite old. They have can definitely do a better job deep cleaning. A lot of their staff do not understand English, which is strange considering the no. of foreigners that were staying there. Also, if asked for any recommendations or suggestions for restaurants or spas near by the staff is unwilling to help or guide, they simply refuse and say they don’t know. I travel a lot and 99% of the staff at hotels will look up or do some research to help the guest, instead of refusing to help. They can provide better service and small gestures, such as free refreshments during Canton Fair can go a long way. Especially since their prices are more than double to their usual price. Their location is excellent, they do have 2 or 3 restaurants just meters away or in adjacent building. There is a mall there as well if you want to walk around.
