Rosewood Residences Guangzhou recensioner

I tried over 10 5-star hotels in Guangzhou in the past years. For the first personal trip to Guangzhou after pandemic, I decided to try a new one with skyline view. That's why I booked the Rosewood Residence. I didnt know it is different from the Rosewood Hotel until I checked in. I like the home feeling decorations of the room. My room was on 73/F with cityview, accessible with a dedicated lift. The day I checked in was a rainy day. Perfect for photography! I have never seen such a dramatic view in GZ before. Highly recommended. P.S. the wine in the photo wasn't a compliment.

As an avid traveller who has stayed at some of the best hotels in the world, I’ve always considered Rosewood to be a leading luxury brand. That’s why this experience at Rosewood Residences was deeply disappointing. First, the room was dusty and the bathroom was well below standard—certainly not what one would expect from a name like Rosewood. I was genuinely shocked that such facilities are associated with the brand. What made matters worse was the misleading listing on Trip.com. The way the booking was displayed made it seem like I was reserving a room at the Rosewood Hotel, not the Residences. The bundled “club” offer added to the confusion, and it felt very deceptive upon discovering the truth at check-in. In-room issues further ruined the experience. The fridge was extremely loud, and when we called for assistance around midnight, the staff simply turned it off and left—resulting in our drinks being ruined. The washing machine was also noisy and disruptive, making the space feel anything but luxurious. This stay did not live up to the standards I’ve come to associate with the Rosewood brand, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend Rosewood Residences based on this experience.

Impeccable location in the same building of K11 mall and rosewood hotel. Easy access to many known restaurants and attractions nearby. Great service provided by front office. We stayed at entry level studio but the size is also very generous with shared access to pool and gym same as Rosewood Hotel. We wil come back again for sure

Had a wonderful stay! Huge thanks to the very friendly and helpful Cantonese-speaking lady at evening check-in who assisted with my floor preference and water. The night view from the room was absolutely stunning, and the room was perfectly clean. Chelsea at check-out was efficient and friendly. Also appreciated the welcoming and attentive manager who is a foreigner. Great service!

Gym and room is nice. Staffs are super supportive and friendly. Definitely a rec if u want somewhere to stay in Guangzhou.

Right across the pearl river from Canton tower, fantastic lobby and gym/swimming pool. Room was modern and clean. If you want to swim you must bring your own head cap or buy there for 170CNY.

I have to say thanks to Aurora and all the rosewood hotel. This hotel is definitely one of the best in Guangzhou. All the staff is super nice and the view of the room just WOW. I highly recommend it, especially for couples who wants to have an unforgettable experience. Thanks again rosewood hotel
