XANA DELUXE Hotel (Guangzhou Yongqingfang Zhongshan 8th Road Subway Station) recensioner

Great location, but the hotel is run-down. We're in Guangzhou regularly, and we've been staying in this hotel numerous times. It's supposed to be "chic," and there was a time when it was. But throughout the years, its state has worsened. It's in a desperate need for a renovation. Why? - Black stains on the bathroom and shower floor (as seen in the pictures). - The drainage is clogged, and the water in the shower evacuates very slowly. - Although the bathroom is spacious, there is not one single hook on the wall. Nowhere to hang your towel or other things you might want to hang up. - The hairdryer barely blows any air, but at the same time, it is really hot. So, there is a possibility of burning your hair but not drying it. - At check-in, they take a close-up picture of you. What is the point of that? They already have all my personal details in my passport, so why the picture? - There was a stale smell of cigarette in the living room and a slight but bad smell in the bathroom. - No fridge. - On the positive side, the staff is friendly, and the room is spacious. You also get fruits in the room.

Close to everything and services were great. Love the laundry room. We will come back again soon.

Good location, exit A metro near. Liwan prk very nice for an evening strol. Clean rooms,a bit noisy. Would stay again

**Excellent Stay with Great Convenience!** This hotel is truly a gem! Its location near the subway station makes transportation incredibly convenient—perfect for exploring the city. What made our stay even more delightful were the little extras: the hotel offers a lovely afternoon tea service, and the 24-hour free coffee is such a nice touch! The staff were all warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Our room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for both convenience and comfort. Will definitely stay here again! Also almost forgot , free bus that take you to the canton fair

Our stay at Xana Deluxe Hotel in Guangzhou was fantastic! The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze, and the cleanliness throughout was impeccable. The rooms were spacious, modern, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptional—professional, attentive, and always ready to assist, especially with coordinating our online purchases. A special shoutout to Ken and the front office team for their outstanding service, as well as the warm and welcoming restaurant manager who greeted us every morning. My only suggestion would be to include a few more Western-style breakfast options alongside the Chinese dishes to cater to diverse tastes. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay in Guangzhou!

The hotel room is rather small but with all the necessities. The staff is very friendly. The location is perfect, in the heart of the charming old town. Everything you need is just a short walk away.

I recently stayed at XANA Deluxe Hotel for two nights and found the location to be quite nice. Situated in an old area of Guangzhou, it’s easy to explore on foot and conveniently near the red line subway station. The hotel is housed in an old building, which adds to its charm. The reception staff were helpful during check-in, making the arrival process smooth. However, I had an unpleasant experience during check-out. The receptionist asked how I booked my stay, and when I mentioned I used Trip, she requested that I open the app so she could leave a review on my behalf. I found this to be quite impolite and declined her request. I hope the hotel management reminds their staff not to engage in such practices in the future. Overall, while the location and initial service were good, this experience left a negative impression.

The hotel is in a very good location—it's convenient for getting around. There are many restaurants nearby, and the best part is that there's a free shuttle service to the Guangzhou fair.

Very clean and tidy, relatively new, everything in perfect working order. The receptionis lady spoke english and helped a lot with me settling in. Location is very convenient for exploring the city, metro stations are close by. Breakfast was just ok.
