Lavande Hotel(Guangzhou Beijing Road Walkway) recensioner

Spacious and clean room that is near to Beijing Lu (tourist attraction) walkable distance from hotel. We changed our hotel room to a window room, as without windows will feel stuffy, had to top-up RM$100/night which we felt is reasonable. However, the level 3 which we were staying on had smoking corner at the lobby which travelled to our room at night. Hence, it gets smoky when guests comes back to smoke. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Everything is good for this hotel except that the receiving parcels on behalf of customers part need to improve. All parcels were left in a small dark room all over the place. Very difficult to find my parcels. No control of parcels collection. I had missing parcel, not sure if someone else took it. Should at least group by customer's name or contact numbers together so we can collect them altogether rather than spread all over one corner in the dark room. This part needs improvement. I had a hard time finding.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The location is excellent. Just 500 meters from Nanjing Road. I walked to and from the night market every day during my stay in Guangzhou. No breakfast include but there’s a convenience store and a couple of small restaurants right at the bottom of the building including a noodle shop and a crispy pork & BBQ pork rice place. The staff didn’t speak much English, but they were very helpful and always tried their best. (On my last day, I had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi because I kept entering the wrong password — the staff even came up to my room to help me fix it.) I gave this hotel 5 stars mainly because I was so impressed that they upgraded me to this room type. The room was spacious and very clean, with full amenities. The towels smelled fresh and clean which is very important to me! The room layout was like two rooms connected with a door in between. All the lighting was touch-controlled, and the main bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. Overall, I was very impressed and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Unfurtunately they are renovating so it's noisy and dirty in the hallway. The room is perfect

Pretty spacious room, around 5-10mins walk to the mrt. There’s one really good bakery nearby and all the famous and long queueing claypot, dimsum (陶陶居，etc) worth staying there
