Nikis Resort

We are now finishing a 4-day family vacation at Nikis Resort. We arrived as a family of two adults and two children, with high expectations, and enjoyed every moment. First of all the staff is great, welcoming, patient, caring and speaks English at a good level. The food, wine and service in the restaurant are of a high standard and the restaurant is open for breakfast and then continuously from noon to night, so it is very convenient and allows flexibility in schedule planning. We did a cooking class with the kids - the chef and staff were nice, professional, explained each step patiently and let us taste the pasta we made together. Simply an unforgettable family experience. The pool at the place is amazing and the location and the view are simply beyond imagination. In short, if you looking for a place to stay in this area, don't hesitate, this is the place for you.

We were simply amazed. The location is stunning—clean and quiet—with a fantastic restaurant offering an excellent menu and breakfast. The staff is exceptional: kind, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable about food, wine, and the history of the resort. I’ve been to many places, but this one is truly something special!

A beautiful hotel with incredible views of the Umbrian hills and great food. Not super luxe but stylish, relaxing and good value. After a booking mix up, Matteo was very accommodating, reselling unused nights and allowing our extended family was able to enjoy the pool together despite them having to stay elsewhere. Thank you Matteo. It was full of families with young kids when we stayed in August. Fine for us as we had our own, but couples might find it a bit annoying.

This Is very nice resort. We were there when it was still quite cold so we were not able to use the pool but if it were warm enough I should it would have been great. Our room was very comfortable, beds good. It could use a nice chair to read in but all in all it was very nice. We had dinner here each night. I was very surprised at the level of food they served. Very good, very inventive. 2 thumbs up to the chef. We were greeted when we arrived by the owner and he was always available if we had questions. One night I requested a different meal that was not on the menu and they were very accommodating in it was very good. All in all I would be happy to come here again hopefully when the weather is better. Also it is very close to some very great attractions, 20-40 minutes away so although you are tucked away in this beautiful area you are very close to all to see.

I want to say it was terrible because I don’t want it to be booked out when we go again…and again. Sadly I have to be honest and say it was staggeringly fabulous!!! The food oh the food!! We need to return for the Umbrian cheese…the truffle…the mushrooms…the pasta…the staff who stop at nothing to make sure your stay is incredible…the pool and gardens for kids to explore and roam freely while parents drink wine and relax watching the magical sunsets over the Tuscan and Umbrian hills. Tear-jerkingly beautiful. It’s bizarre that it’s an afterthought to mention the wonderful frescos in the church painted by a student of Giotto. Exceptionally good value. 12th Century gem - restored with such care and sensitivity by the owners who clearly care deeply about the experience everyone has during their stay. Already planning our next trip.

Our stay at Niki's Resort was amazing! Beautiful views of the Umbrian countryside and the most spectacular sunsets. The wine tasting with Francesco was one of the highlights of our holiday in Italy. Matteo and his friendly staff took great care of us and were always available. The food served at the restaurant was delicious along with the amazing sunset views at dinner.
