Incredible and excellent service done in a relaxed and cosy but very efficient way. Very cheerful, polite and over the top helpful really lovely staff particularly Dieny, Dean and Mohamed. Also very lovely were Clara, Lucas, Enrique, Mario, Lea and many others. Dieny and Dean should get a promotion. They are soooooooo fantastic and made me very at home. I love the atmosphere that all the sweet staff create. The room maids were so nice aswell. High quality all round. Lovely breakfasts. Well done. Highly recommended. I’ll be back! 5 stars. Thank you very much. ❤️♥️ With love and gratitude.

As always - brilliant!!! We had a wonderful time. The hotel is fabulous, the grounds are stunningly beautiful, the restaurants are amazing, the pools are incredible and the staff are super friendly, helpful and efficient. This was our fifth stay, we will be back.

Just got back from a wonderful stay at this hotel with my husband and parents, and we’re already looking at booking again for next year. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable. We spent most of our time during the day in the red level pool area. It was so relaxing there and the pool staff were absolutely brilliant. This was a general theme actually - we found all of the staff at the hotel to be very friendly, efficient and proactive. The spa was great too. My mum and I had hot stone massages and would highly recommend! There were a few small things that we felt could be improved. Restaurant bookings on the app were near impossible, but thankfully the reception staff were great and were able to take care of this for us. It also would have been good to have a few more staff on hand in the restaurants as it was clear that there were occasions where the staff were rushed off their feet. We opted not to go to La Terrasse due to the menu limitations (there was a lot of overlap between the set menu options and there were a few things we knew we wouldn’t eat) - it would be great to have a bit more flexibility so that we could enjoy the beautiful setting. Finally, we would have liked to see the all inclusive drinks finish a bit later than 11pm. However, all in all, we had an incredible time. We will definitely be returning!

The location of the hotel is spectacular. The view is stunning. Everything is super clean. Every evening you have a show to keep you entertained, and it's pretty great. Staff is incredibly helpful and makes you feel incredibly comfortable and welcome, and it feels genuine:) Special thanks to Leah and Andres who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked into the hotel. Wonderful place, will be returning again

Wonderful experience in the, “Red Level” area. The private areas made a huge difference with crowds, noise, and comfort. We emailed what reservations we wanted and they took care of it all for us where as others I think are able to do it in the app. The Bali bed experience was awesome, highly recommended with the little private curtains and concierge button for services.. don’t feed the birds or they’ll come back in droves like a horror film. The weather was incredible, that was one of the biggest draws for me. Perfectly warm but with a cool breeze that’s not going to make you cold just allows you to feel nit miserable hot. The transfer was fast and easy, we booked it via email to the hotel and the driver was waiting with our name on a paper. The food. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the food. Never had a bad meal or bad experience. In Pangea they have a special area away from the crowds by a little koi pond which was nice. The Palle was fantastic… the ice cream scoopers were the most delightful. Lots of available food and none of it was bad. There’s fruit and rando snacks available most of the time I think when it isn’t meal time. Agave by the pool in front of the gym was really pleasant. Mexican food, all great. The guac starter is a must and large enough to share. Can’t go wrong with the quesadillas for anyone. Duo is at the back left corner of the main plaza area where the entertainment next to Nami (asian). The steak was really nice, cooked perfectly for my wife and I. Little salty at first but I loved it. It was also a very relaxing experience. Nami right next to Duo with the same podium for reservation check. It was nice with sushi and all kinds of Asian food, we loved it. Some of the guests were having a special Teppanyaki grill experience which looked nice. La Terrasse was a very nice taster menu, a very pleasant experience when the sun went down a bit, I’d do either a 6:30 or 9:30 reservation if you can so the sun isn’t in your eyes. Breakfast, we had Pangea and the red level breakfast. Pangea was always real busy after 8am and I would definitely forgo for the red level experience. We had all of the breakfast on the menu and loved it all. Oasis was very nice as well, we had lunch only there and enjoyed it, no need for reservations for any lunch if the restaurant is open for lunch that day. Spa, we weren’t wild about it, the ladies were nice and professional for our couples massage but I’m not sure I’d do it again. We didn’t use the water area but you do need to book it if you want to. One suggestion is to arrive an hour earlier to user the little whirlpool and small pool in the massage area before the treatment. The Red level for families area near the gym, I wasn’t sure it was actually a part of the Red level, it was less per night than the actual red level reservations, we went inside and were delighted for some AC, soft serve ice cream, espresso machine, and snacks. This was our 9th stay and as great as ever. A lovely welcome and chilled glass of cava on arrival. Ray showed us to our room with a gorgeous view (3060) and for us settled in well and checked in on us during our stay. We then spent five gorgeous days enjoying the pool, the views, the yoga with Pauleria and the lovely service from Aurelia at breakfast and lunch. Dinners were enjoyed in the local town at the various restaurants - all great! Another perfect stay - we’ll see you again in April and November 2025z 💛

We recently spent a week in an Ocean Front room in the RedLevel at Gran Melia Palacio De Isora and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was great, with a large terrace offering lovely views of the nearby beach. Breakfast was the expected high standard. The only other meal we had in the hotel was at the Italian restaurant - decent, if not spectacular. We preferred walking into the adjacent village of Alcala each evening for supper and a few drinks. RedLevel definitely worth the extra cost - the daytime drinks and snacks were a great bonus. Spent most days around the RedLevel pool, which was fine. One issue, for us at least, was the sound of the evening entertainment. After the first night ("Flamenco"), we asked to change room, but the available options were limited - one wouldn't have been much quieter, and the other was significantly more expensive. Gold Membership meant we were able to request a late check-out and Lucas on reception was kind enough to extend this to 3pm, which was ideal and much appreciated. We'd be happy to visit again but may choose to opt for an alternative that doesn't offer nighttime shows. This is simply our preference - I'm sure many guests love the entertainment and see it as a big positive!

Another wonderful stay at the best hotel on the beautiful island of Tenerife. The amazing staff always with smiles on their faces and nothing is too much trouble. Mario, Vero, José, Dylan, Denis, Eva, Vanessa, Alex, Erica, Elisa the list is endless. If you are looking for unrivaled luxury then Red Level adults only is the place to be. I recently visited the Gran Meliá for the first time, our first trip to the Canary Islands and I would recommend it to everyone, I can't wait to go back one day. I stayed at the Red Level, I was very impressed by the tranquility, the views, an excellent place to share as a couple. Congratulations to the entire team. Lucas, Vero, Jose from reception, capable of solving any problem. The breakfast was simple, but of great quality, poche, omelette, scrambled eggs, crepes, waffles, delicious, congratulations to the entire team, especially Beatriz from Cuba, professional, attentive, efficient in the service, she went above and beyond our expectations despite the volume of work, we also saw her in other restaurants, and she made us happy, thank you. Many thanks also to Flava, Rafa, Leidi, all wonderful and attentive. For lunch we went to other restaurants, there are several options, or you can have a snack at the pool in the red level area, you will also be impressed by the huge salt pool, we only tried it one day because we liked to be more in our area, but it is as I said IMPRESSIVE. The night staff and the bars were also friendly and helpful. Thanks to everyone once again, it has been an unforgettable few days, they did an excellent job and made our stay extra comfortable, red level is definitely worth it.

The hotel itself is stunning , we were impressed with the rooms also , however the service was very poor , me and my partner on 2 nights out of the 3 we were there decided to book at 2 of the restaurants , both nights we were told that our bookings did not exist although booking these through reception. On one of those the occasions we were told they would get someone to help , this person never turned up to help , we were ignored and we then had to pay 48 euro for a very poor buffet. The food around the resort also we found a lot of the time was under cooked, service at all the bars was very slow , we appreciate completely if they were running busy however this was not the case. Room service would also walk themselves into the room without notice or asking if they could come in which made us feel very uncomfortable following this I found one of my diamond earrings had been moved out of my safe keeping which was extremely unusual and infuriating and I’m very grateful to have found it. Despite bringing all this to the hotels attention at reception , we felt we was not heard and just ignored. I am not usually one to complain however I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwanted by hotel staff like this.

The first experience was with the reception concierge who took care of our luggage when we arrived too early at the resort. Still, they waived any worries away, then took us to the main reception for check-in and while waiting for registration we were offered glasses of cold Cava of excellent quality. We were served during our registration process and never felt better at any of our five-star hotel reception experiences ever, we used the available time to walk around on the premises to get equally beautiful exotic walkways along the grass and palm trees and began our anniversary weekend first time with Melia Resorts. When we finished our round, the concierge picked up our luggage placed them in a golf cart and brought them to our Red Level service centre, the driver was Dieny Mayordomo, and he was just a lovely person making us feel the warm welcome we experienced the Caribbean with his generously smiling face and positive and respectful communication. Palacio De Isora is a big resort with lots of restaurants and relaxing areas with drinks or just a book, the saltwater pool was simply amazing and thanks to our anchor in the Palacio, the wonderful Dieny who took us around and showed us walkways and how easiest get to these various placed we were eager to experience his presence and his way of making us feel special among hundreds of tourists cannot be paid for in money. He was like meeting an old friend, simply easy-going. Our room was delicate and well equipped, the outside jacuzzi was relaxing before bedtime and the cleanness was impeccable, one of our highest criteria in hotels and resorts. Breakfast was simply high delicious quality, lunch even more like six stars as were the services and every guest we spoke with said the same, the restaurants we visited was a good experience we enjoyed fully. The day we were ready to leave we were picked up by our Dieny and he followed us to the last handshake, he is a true gentleman and a wonderful person we cannot thank him enough and we will see him again. Maybe he then oversaw customer relations or was part of the strategy team, he delivered a great Five-Star-Impression as did others but a special experience for us. We thank all Palacio De Isora Resort staff for providing an unforgettable stay and we will now look at Gran Melia when we travel from now on to new destinations being your ambassadors, thank you and see you next year again. RED LEVEL is the ultimate in luxury, where you can enjoy the maximum possible amenities with impeccable service, divine cuisine and an impeccable Clarins Spa experience. When you visit the same place more than once it must be because you like it! When you go back year after year, it must be because you love it! Why? For us, it has to be the people who work there. People who are genuinely pleased to see you and then can't do enough to help and make it great for you. The Red Level Team is just great from the moment you arrive with Mario, Lucas, Denis and Rebecca, then there are a small army who run the pool bar Pablo's people are amazing! Then countless members of the waiting staff in all the restaurants who all seem to enjoy doing what they do and so many who are there year after year doing a great job and making it feel special to be here like Leonardo, Gladys, Alessandro, J-M and so many more. A beautiful hotel, immaculately clean and beautiful gardens. The staff are all brilliant and make staying at the hotel a wonderful experience. I stayed at the main hotel three years ago and decided this time to upgrade to the red level which I’m not sure is value for money based on my experience. Even though I’d stayed before and am a melia locality card holder the room I was initially allocated was whilst spacious you could barely see the sky. The alternative offered was overlooking a building site next door. They also offered to upgrade me to an ocean view for €95pn which I declined. In the end I got a garden view which was more than acceptable. The main benefit of red level for me was the a la cate breakfasts which were great. I was unable to get a reservation on any of the three nights the Bistrot restaurant was open and the food at La Terrasse was on one night a poor experience and on the next night at best average. (Reviewed separately).The service at the pool was practically non existent and you had to go to the bar to get service. The four star rating is for the hotel overall, for red level I would only give two.

Visited numerous times over last 10 years and what was an exclusive 5+ star redlevel experience is 4star at best now with everyone in the hotel piling into evening drinks like a hoard of animals.. the exclusive canapés are now just dips/pizza
