Vila Gale Atlantico

I had a disappointing stay at Vila Galé Atlântico. Our room had a view of a gas deposit, and we found dirty underwear under the bed from a previous guest - that stay there for multiple days. The restaurant floors were dirty, attracting cockroaches, and the hotel needs renovations, with issues like poor water pressure and old elevators. The pool area bathrooms had a constant bad smell and were often swamped with water. Overall, the value for money was very low. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the kids' pools were nice. If you really want to go there, I recommend booking a sea view room to get a better room, and reserve through a travel agency to pay less then directly.

We booked several rooms at Vila Gale Atlantico for a family vacation. None of the rooms had ocean views but some in our party upgraded to obtain this feature. The staff were very helpful and we appreciated daily maid service. Cooking equipment and utensils were less than adequate, but OK for making breakfast. Short walk to the beach and grocery store. In general our, our visit was satisfactory.

This hotel is running alive with cockroaches on the ground floor rooms, poolside, bar / reception and games room. The staff just tread on them and then transport the eggs wherever they walk. This hotel needs to deal with the cockroaches properly and stop denying they have a problem. Other Vila Gael hotels are much better and they know what customer care is. Jet2 are poor as well they don’t really want to know and blame the hotel and not themselves! I would never go back here. We also had a ant issue!

I am a regulary guest so I wanted to express my appreciation for this year’s animation. Very entertaining and engaging. Hoping to see them again! I liked particularly the hidro gym and the night time shows. The small games were fun and a great combination with other activities.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, where the staff and the entertainment team was fantastic, offering a wide range of activities that kept both all of us engaged throughout the day. The workers were always friendly, attentive, and with a smile. However, still maintain the inability to activate it's own rule against reserving sun loungers. It was frustrating to see that more than half of the loungers were often reserved but left unused for most of the day. Despite this, the overall service and atmosphere made up for this inconvenience, and I would still recommend the hotel for a relaxing vacation.

Great hotel and staff, downside was the lack of local facilities. The rooms were well proportioned and kept very clean. The restaurant food was good and kept well stocked. Omelettes took ages to the cook. The chef could only manage to cook one at a time. Although very good, I decided it wasn't worth waiting for, so I chose the other cooked options. If choosing to eat outside, watch over for the seagulls, they steal the food off your plate. The biggest disappointment isn't down to the hotel. It's the location. There's hardly anything to do in the surrounding area with only a couple of bars around. The one has a great roof bar, with great sunset views.

Unit 413 was a great unit with sunny balcony overlooking sea. Well equipped partial kitchen,great super mercado Apolonia near by.Nice swimming pool area,separate kids pool with water attractions.Various massages available,spa on site.Good restaurant with extensive menu choices. Great beach within walking distance.

Lovely sunny week, great location. Marred by extensive on-site maintenance that was an unwelcome intrusion, I think they turned up the music and ‘entertainment’ by the pool to drown out the noise - tranquil escape it was not maid service was top notch, clean room, good shower and comfy beds. Overall, not bad - would consider it for a short break next time.

Well located Hotel with extensive facilities, but had the misfortune to stay when it was undergoing extensive renovation works to building and access driveway. Daily noise, dust, intrusive noise of heavy machinery and men with angle grinders. At least they stopped at 5 pm. But a tranquil, relaxing Week in the sun it was not. Room had a sea view, but overlooked the pool that had 'activities' on most of the day, usually involving a loudspeaker, perhaps to drown out the workmen noise - the Bingo was hilarious. Hotel were apologetic about the inconvenience, but got the usual shoulder shrug from reception - the Tour Operator denied any knowledge which, being Jet2, doesn't surprise me. Otherwise Hotel was comfortable, room was cleaned daily, good shower and fluffy towels - Breakfast was good - didn't use the bar or Evening restaurant service as better value/choice nearby. Apolonia Supermarket on the doorstep was a godsend! Would I return? - Long Weekend only, booked direct and with certainty no renovation works planned. Avoid Jet2 who are just charlatans.....
