The hotel room itself was nice, but the room was boiling hot and there was no option to have windows open without pulling down a large dark blind if you wanted to get changed. There is no twill or net across the window. In addition the air con was a bit temperamental, and the radiator in the bathroom was on hot for much of the time. Not idea. Otherwise fairly nice. Also the shower didn't have a door on it so the water went everywhere (it wasn't a wet room, just a normal shower cubicle)

Expected a king size bed as booked but told all beds the same size and not king. First room small for a deluxe so changed to another room. Hotel looking a little tired.Service for our evening meal was good. Would put the hotel in the average bracket. However did not use the spar facilities.

Beautiful grounds and general location. Large room, though slightly old fashioned with a key attached to a large keyring and no lift. Great air conditioning. Decent TV. Excellent WiFi. Very nice restraunt. Helpful staff.

It’s all about the weddings here. If you’re not going to one, or planning one or using the spa, I’m not sure why you’d come. It’s all a bit 3 star with 4 star potential only naff.

Convenient for visiting west horsley place but the walls are v thin and we could hear the people in the next room talking until very late into the evening, air con didn’t work and room was on the top floor so it was v warm (early June) , shower didn’t drain away properly so was v slippery .

They tried to take £100 off my card to cover room damage, before I even seen the room. It was changed to £50 and then soon reported one of the lamps was damaged and the sink plug didn’t work.
They then asked if i wanted to book in for breakfast, when I said no thanks, he then looked at me as of I had insulted him.
Customers are clients, not cash cows.

Good for the price. Very higgledy piggledy inside - tortuous route to the room (single room 6 at the top). Very pleased to have a bath in room, and air con too! Room was fine with no problems. Peacocks around site are very loud! Breakfast disappointing cinsidering high price (£15). No service as such and food was lukewarm from buffet. Also no teapots, only cups available. Should be better breakfast!

I love the hotel. Staff was friendly. I even had an evening meal which is something I don’t really do but I ate in the restaurant and I totally enjoyed my meal.
I will stay here again.

Very good. Room23 could do with the lower half of the Low window being frosted so you cannot be seen by people in garden.
