Hotel Rural Finca Salamanca

Staff: first I want to mention Conny on reception and Gean Petro in the restaurant. We arrived quite late from our flight but they welcomed us and made sure we had a meal, also Conny wrote the names of all the cats down for me (there are cats!!). All the staff on reception we spoke to were kind and helpful. Restaurant staff were equally lovely. Room: was nice and well kept but the views of the mountains, the gardens, the pool area are what it's all about. Really beautiful place to relax. Food: breakfast buffet was small but excellent and the dinner in restaurant is amazing. With half board includes 3 courses from the menu and it's all good quality with lots of choice. One downside: the WiFi is bad. Conny tried to help but it just wouldn't work at all, so we ended up using mobile data the whole time. Cats: if you like cats you will love the furry residents, they were the main attraction for us. Absolutely would return ❤️

Fabulous hotel with the most amazingly helpful staff. Shout out to Conny on Reception, you were just wonderful when we arrived, thank you! Peaceful, calm and tranquil would best describe the hotels ambiance. The gardens with their fruit trees are enticing. This is a place to re-charge your batteries and relax, be looked after and eat great food. We experienced no issues whatsoever with Wi-Fi as has been mentioned in posts elsewhere. On site restaurant offers an excellent menu cooked to an equally excellent standard. If you have mobility issues, it might be worth noting that only the junior suites have showers, other rooms have a shower over the bath. On the down side, beds are tired and very hard but the topper provided by the housekeeping staff certainly improved our sleep quality. Looking forward to visiting again before the end of the year, fingers crossed.

We stayed at the Finca Salamanca for 5 nights at the end of April to beginning of May on a Half Board basis. In my view this place is a real "find". Located about a mile from Guimar with plenty of car parking, but in a rural location. The tranquillity hits on you straight away and the staff are all very professional, bur friendly and helpful especially in the Restaurant. In fact the meals provided are a reason to return in themselves - Breakfast is a good buffet style, but the evening meal is full Waiter Service from a full and varied menu - I have eaten at all sorts of establishments all over the world and I cannot think of any where that the food would be better than here - unbelievable - the restaurant is open to the public although not that busy - food prices are quoted on the menu giving an indication of the value of the half board. The Finca is situated in extensive and attractive grounds with large areas of avocados and views of the mountains and the sea. There is a very pleasant heated swimming pool which is spotlessly clean and well maintained as is the whole Finca and grounds. Our room was clean and comfortable containing super king bed, flat screen TV, table and chairs, settee and coffee table, etc. Large Bathroom with complimentary toiletries, Shower, wash basin, WC, etc. Outside a terrace with Sunbeds, table and chairs. There are no coffee making facilities although a kettle will be supplied free of charge from Reception and tea / coffee are available near the Reception Area all day. There is a Room Safe for which a key is provided for a charge of 3 Euros a day - maybe this should be free. It would be wise to have a hire car - although Guimar is only about a mile away the walk is either uphill or downhill in both directions. The roads in Tenerife are very busy and parking everywhere you visit is not easy especially in towns which is a down side. However I strongly advise a visit to The Finca Salamanca - you will not regret it !!

Lovely peaceful location, great to use as a base for seeing the island and good walks. Lovely pool, unheated but great for a pre breakfast swim. Breakfast was excellent, great and varied choices. We only ate in the restaurant one evening the food and service were really good, but it was very quiet, maybe have some background music. It would also be good to have the option either in the room or in the salon to get a tea or coffee during the day. The fact that wifi was only available in the salon was actually good. All the staff were really lovely and very helpful.

Finca , domaine, Salamanca situé à l'entrée de Guimar. L'entrée du domaine se trouve dans un virage entre 2 ronds points. Localisation est idéale pour découvrir Ténérife; Cet hôtel est situé dans un cadre agricole charmant et au calme. L'accueil est sympathique et avenant. La chambre est très spacieuse et complète. Séjourné en demi pension dans cette Finca. Petit déjeuner en buffet diversifié avec possibilité de dégustation en terrasse ( petite) . Diner à la carte avec service à table. Oui, à la carte. Vous aurez la possibilité de choisir le menu complet sur la carte des menus du restaurant...qui est accessible aux clients extérieurs. Service souriant et PRO.

Wir waren Anfang August in der Finca Salamanca. Es war einfach Traumhaft dort. Wir wurden sehr herzlich bei unserer Anreise Empfangen. Das Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert! Beim Frühstücksbuffet ist alles dabei, was das Herz begehrt.. Wir haben am ersten & letzten Abend dort gegessen und es war grandios! Ein riesen Lob an den Service, sehr freundlich & aufmerksam. Wir hatten Zimmer 206, es war perfekt, den Abend haben wir immer auf unserer Terasse mit Blick auf die Berge ausklingen lassen. Wir möchten dem gesamten Personal der Finca Salamanca herzlich danken, für einen tollen Aufenthalt.. Besonderer Dank geht an Conny.. Wir werden nächstes Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder kommen..
