Emaj Boutique Hotel

This building used to be a bank; the rooms have high ceilings and plenty of charm. The fridges don't work, but the air conditioners do. Breakfast is fine. No door between sleeping area and bathroom, which is a bit odd. mattress was super comfortable. I felt quite safe. Front desk should always have someone present, but often it's unattended. Need more staff. But had a nice stay.

I spent 2 nights here before starting the Camino (hotel was provided as part of my package). The hotel is a short walk away from the historic center of Guimarães, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. My room was adequate, and I might have gotten more rest if it weren’t for the pigeons that frequented the ledge outside my window. It was an odd bathroom arrangement; very tight space and the shower and toilet were separated by clear glass (not a problem if you are solo). And even though I could take an elevator to the second floor, getting to my room required a few hallways and navigating steps. The front desk was more than happy to assist with my suitcase. Due to COVID-19, breakfast was preordered and delivered to your room. Service was prompt and a small snafu with my order quickly resolved. Kudos to the staff for trying their best in such difficult times.

Recomendado. Habitaciones muy bonitas y grandes. Buen servicio y muy buen desayuno. La ubicación es muy buena teniendo en cuenta que las plazas donde están los restaurantes y el ambiente está a dos minutos andando. El personal muy amable. Volveremos.

En plein centre ville, bel endroit, literie parfaite, petit déjeuner copieux. Acheté via Air BnB. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Buena situacion. Limpio. Moderno. Personal muy atento. Parking cercano y muy barato. Pagamos por 30h. aprox. 4.60€. Las habitaciones amplias y acogedoras. Recomiendo reservar la de luxe es un poco mas cara pero compensa con creces. Volveria otra vez, lo recomiendo.

Di bello ha solo la facciata, all’interno moquette prugna e pareti scure con un illuminazione da night club. Evito di commentare la tristezza della prima colazione, la pulizia delle camere lascia molto a desiderare così come la biancheria a disposizione. Il parcheggio previsto nella nostra prenotazione non è mai pervenuto. ma vi allego alcune foto della decadenza di questo quattro stelle…..
