Forest Face Lodge

This is a truly wonderful place to stay. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-prepared, making you feel comfortable from the very first moment. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious – the perfect way to start the day. What made the experience even more special was the host, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Thanks to the warm atmosphere and great service, I felt very welcome and relaxed throughout my stay. I will definitely come back here on my next visit and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and a memorable experience.

From the moment I arrived at Forest Face Lodge, the warm welcome I received set the tone for my entire stay. The staff was incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. My room was spacious, super clean, and offered a breathtaking view of the lush greenery surrounding the lodge. The peaceful sound of chirping birds added a sense of tranquility. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a delight. The value for money is exceptional, and I highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. I will definitely be coming back!

We can only recommend the cooking class. First of all, everything is incredibly clean, everything is beautifully curated and you learn a lot about traditional singhalese cuisine. Malika was very patient with us and the whole process took us about three hours, besides the impressive dinner we had towards. Everything was incredibly delicious and the whole process, was so much fun. She also gave us the recipes afterwards as a PDF and we will definitely cook them back at home. Thank you again for the great afternoon and magnificent dinner!

We cannot recommend this gem of a place highly enough. Tucked in the forest next to the river. The family are so kind and attentive and Malika and her mother offer the most incredible cooking class with a wonderful meal afterwards. 100% recommended!
