We spent only one short night at Novotel Guwahati. The check-in was efficient. The staff were very kind. The room was comfortable but needed better ventilation in the bathroom. The breakfast was SPECTACULAR!!!!!

The hotel is good but we can’t compare this hotel with 5star property of equivalent category. I enjoy the stay . I would simply say it’s good.

Room was fine. Breakfast is something that they can rewlly work on. The taste as well as the service. The spread was okayish. The food taste was not upto the mark. Everything had excess salt in it.

Service we received from Security and valet was very good Front desk not upto the mark they were not welcoming and not friendly even though its our second visit, checking in even after we have already booked one more room for our family member they said "there is no such name in their booking list" inspite the rooms were all booked in the same name a day before plus no bell boy was provided during check out. Restaurant service during breakfast was very good and all the staff was so sweet and very friendly. Housekeeping was very good too and helpful but there was a stain on the pillow in room no. 606. Room service was good

Very good hotel and good staff. Rooms were clean and for was good. Room was spacious too. Price was bit higher but accomodation was very good.

We booked the executive rooms for out stay at Novotel. The stay was good overall but some places in the dining area need some work as the walls have gone damp and there are too many mosquitos around. Reception: Was an ok experience. No welcome drink or anything offered to the family. Rooms were assigned pretty quickly. Rooms: Executive room is big. No bathtub though. The room was clean and nice. It gives a nice city view as we were on the 8th floor. Bar: Since we had booked the executive room, we got complimentary access to the bar for cocktail hours. The area is really dark though for my liking. Wish it had a bit more lights that what it is now. Restaurant: Like i mentioned earlier, there are areas in the restaurant where the walls are damp and there are too many mosquitos. If one tells the manager, they will send the person with mosquito racquet, I really did not expect that :) Even the roof top restaurant also has lot of mosquitos. Pool: Did not use as the pool is within the roof top restaurant. It felt weird just looking at the place where the pool was. How am I supposed to swim when the tables are right besides the pool and strangers are sitting and eating there? Another thing to keep in mind - Flyover construction is going on just close to the hotel. So getting to the hotel takes a lot of time and there is chaotic traffic near the construction site.

The service offered by the staff was par excellence. Special shout outs to Sanjoy and Resu for their excellent services. The food was top notch and the ambience excellent. Only disturbance was a party who were way too loud. Looks like they have no sense of fine dining experience. No fault of the staff though, just blame it on the poor grooming of the 'noisy party.'

Guddu from housekeeping department is so sweet . I met him for the second time , i met him last during my last stay . He is so humble and very dedicated towards his job . Akways greets with a smiling face . Cherry on thr cake was when he gave two beautiful flowers today and wished me good day ! He made my day ! God bless him ! He is an amazing person.

Full of smiles and willing to help. That's the staff Rofiquil at the breakfast area was so kind and hospitable. Similarly fardin at the reception,again full of helping attitude. Very happy to stay here. Solo traveller and very touristy person that I am. I have come on a culinary trip to gauhati with a Michelin chef. Our program starts tomorrow. My son told me stay in Novotel for your personal work like temple visits and sightseeing. I am grateful I checked in here.
